Reccomended by 2 different sets of friends and was everything we had been led to expect. Will reccomend to others.Right on the beach with fab views and waking to sound of waves. Food ecellent and service also

This was a well located hotel with friendly staff and great views. It was fairly simple but did exactly what it said which was to provide us with a base to explore the area. We did find some of the hotel support a little lacking as we asked them to book a taxi and I think perhaps someones friend came instead, an elderly car with no seatbelts and a cracked windscreen. However we did find out later from one of the restaurants that driving at night in that area is safe so perhaps we didn't need the taxi. We also send our items to the laundry which came back un-ironed. Not helpful when you are travelling and have no way of ironing your own items, when we queried this we were told we should have specified we wanted things ironed. There was nowhere on the laundry slip that stated this so we ended up having to have them redone later on at further expense. But overall this was a great place to stay, easy to get to local things and great local food. We loved the lighthouse and the restaurant there and the harbour with the fishing boats and local fresh caught fish was brilliant.

Amazing place. The Sands is in the best location on that ***** of St Francis Bay. The sounds of the waves lulls you great sleep. Breath clean fresh air blown form the ocean. A very short walk to beach , to swim or surf. This is my new annual to do trips from now on.

This was our first time in St Francis Bay, and we fell inlove with it. The Sands is a magnificent property to stay in with amazing service from all the staff and views are incredible. Pity we left so early to come back to Cape Town, we unfortunately left at 6am 😫😡 But we will Definitely be back. Thank you Rush & Team!

We flew from the Uk to Johannesburg, connected to PE, hired a SUV and wanted a place to stay within 90 mins of the airport. The Sands was perfect. Dinner was ready about an hour after our arrival and despite being a little jaded from a long trip, was very enjoyable with a few drinks and a nice bottle of wine. Our room was very large and had a simply stunning view with infinity pool in the garden separating us from the coastline. Cape St Francis is quiet and our decision to spend a catch-up night here before starting a trip across to Cape Town over two weeks was a good one. This is a highly recommended luxurious boutique hotel

This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location right on the shoreline in St. Francis Bay. The room was great with lots of character and it opened straight onto the garden and pool. The steps down from the garden to the beach were broken and cordoned off. What sadly let this hotel down was the staff. We were given a list of local restaurants and told that they could make reservations for us. When we decided to eat in the hotel, this seemed to disappoint the staff. The food at both breakfast and dinner was excellent.

Beautiful hotel with a room to die for Unfortunately the weather prevented us using the pool but would definitely return to make full use of it Only thing we werent keen on was having to decide by 4pm what we wanted for dinner Evening meal was good and staff very friendly

We only stayed one night but Heidi and her team were great, had a lovely stay. The chef was wonderful she was able to accommodate for our fussy teenagers and prepared delicious meals. The views over the sea were special and we could have sat all day and night in the comfortable seats watching the sea! Will be on our wish list to return... in the town we managed to take a canal trip, thoroughly enjoyable and in the small shopping centre found everyone friendly and welcoming. Worth a visit!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we’re there for three night. Staff very accommodating and food excellent. Our room was very comfortable and the view wonderful. Would certainly recommend The Sands @ St Francis.
