The District Hotel

Location is good! The hotel policy is too strict!

Either it’s a new hotel with cheap Labour or it’s an older hotel and it’s showing its age (not quite saw). There was wallpaper coming off the walls, tape around some of the light switches, as though they hadn’t taken off the original packaging. Coffee or tea stain on the bed. We spoke to one of the cleaners and they said they’d change it, but they didn’t. Wasn’t just in the room either. You could see scratch marks on walls, cracks on the stairs as you walk into the hotel. Was also building works in buildings near by (which obviously not the hotels fault). So a little noisy at times. The hotel reception also charged us €10 for arriving 90minutes before check in time. However our room had already been cleaned, so it wasn’t like they had to rush around. It would have just been sat there not doing anything. Also no real information on local information, special no maps of the local area to help tourists. They had a few on Popeye tour and local bus tour (but that was it). There was a code keypad that you had to put into the enter the hotel. But it had the code printed above it. What’s the point of having it if anyone can just type the code in. Also about 3 times we had to go back to reception to get our room cards reactivated as they stopped working.

Hotel itself is nice room I was staying in was spacious and clean. The problem was building sites surrounding hotel. They starting work early and makes that construction site noise. And another inconvenience was parking hotel doesn’t have parking so it’s on street parking but if there’s no close space to the hotel do you have drive around the streets to look for space. But in general I enjoyed staying in a hotel

Just returned from a week at this hotel. The room was very clean and decorated in a modern style. Bathrooms were very good with excellent showers. Location was very good, close to beach, supermarket, shopping and ******. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially David who was a great help with our boarding passes. Would stay again.

Hello so I return from a full day out,to the hotel and could not access my room,key card wasn’t working I went to the receptions and I got told that I have to pay 120 euros for a damaged desk in the room,until I paid they wouldn’t let me in the room for a check, once I paid and entered the room I saw that the desk wasn’t damaged just had some gel on the desk witch I whipped off and the desk was clean without any damage done to it I have all photos to prove my words plus you can hear your neighbours next room using the toilet and being noisy all night paper thin walls terrible stay at the hotel would not recommend

The room was dirty. When I asked them to clean the bathroom (there was hair from the previous guests) they told me okay and nobody came. The hotel didn't have parking area. The breakfast had very specific things and no choices for vegan/vegetarian. Also there is no soundproofing and we were listening literally everything from the others room and the hallway.

Good facilites and services. Spacious and clean rooms. Close to Saint Julian the main bus stop, shoping center and the beach. Good and plenty full breakfast. It's located near different restaurants, pubs and bares, but there's noisy. The staff is very pleasant
