Our Bunkhouse has a nice covered deck that is perched above the White River with a bird’s eye view. There is a smaller pavilion below with more seating. The Bunkhouse has three bedrooms with sleeping arrangements for 14 guest. A fully stocked large kitchen, seating for 10 plus TV trays to dine. On the second upstairs floor there is a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. On the lower floor there is a refrigerator, coffee maker, full size bed, and a single bed. The bottom floor also has its own bathroom with shower and outstanding views of the river. In addition, on the bottom level there is a game room with pool table, big screen TV, poker table, and lots of seating. This area has two garage doors that can be opened while guest are watching TV and enjoying games.Our unique grassy landing is located right on the river bank just a few steps from the Bunkhouse. By a few steps, we mean a staircase leads down to the landing that gently slopes to the water’s edge. The landing has a pavilion, wood swings, a boat ramp, grilling area and another fire pit. If someone in your party doesn’t maneuver stairs well, it is possible to drive them to and from the landing below in your own 4X4 or side-by-side. Bring the whole family to this custom log home on a 14-acre slice of heaven in the Ozark Mountains on Arkansas’ famed blue ribbon smallmouth bass stream “Crooked Creek” Just (3) bends upstream from the confluence of the White River. Fish, swim, kayak, snorkel on our 1000’ of creek frontage. The kids and whole family will have a blast. The water level on the creek is constantly fluctuating dependent solely on the rainfall and spring water received upstream. Many times, I have docked my 20’ topwater boat below the house (spring). Others we have kayaked from the lower access off HWY 101 back to the house (late spring, early summer). And other times we just enjoy swimming and snorkeling around the natural springs that feed the creek and wade fish (late summer). Ranchette White River access is about (4) miles down the road, so bring your boat if you’d like to trout fish, or we can put you in touch of one of the many guides in the area that can pick you up right at the ramp according to the bite. House accommodations state 12, and that is utilizing (1) person on the pull out couch in the game room and (1) person on the log futon in the Master bedroom. please contact host if you have more, as we always try and accommodate. House is approx. 4000 sq ft with (3) levels. Large soaker tub/glass tile shower in the master bath, (6) person hot tub on the lower level. King’s Landing on the White River is all yours if you book from this listing. We have vacant lots on both sides of us so kids can play and adults can turn up the music without disturbing others. There are two buildings on the grounds. They can be rented separately in a different Vrbo listing, but are combined in this specific listing. We call one building the "Lodge" (The individual Lodge VRBO #ID is 1617688 .) and the other building is the "Bunkhouse (The individual VRBO ID # for it is 1558580.) Both buildings are hooked up to an on-demand generator year round so if electricity was to be interrupted for any reason your heat, air, and other electrical needs would continue to function as normal. We have WIFI through Starlink. We do offer ROKU streaming and provide HULU, Disney+, ESPN, Paramount+, and a few more. As owners, we believe the highlight of your trip will be slowing down and enjoying our beautiful property with family and friends. Some of our guests have enjoyed having meals catered. We will be glad to share local favorites if needed. We have even had guests rent bounce houses and can provide that name if needed. We have a big back yard and front yard so bring your games. We do provide some on site outdoor games like corn hole, horse shoes, etc. We allow events and parties but these must be approved ahead of time. This can be done through emails before you book. We will need to know number of guests and how many nights you want to stay. Then we can send you a quote. We love hosting micro weddings and reunions. We have sheds on the property full of rental items like vintage dishes and glassware, props, log benches, and additional tables and chairs for your destination wedding or special anniversary party. We will gladly answer questions concerning any of these options available. The Good Life is a family friendly lake house that we want to share with you! With Bull Shoals Lake right outside your back deck it is accessible for fishing, hiking, relaxing, boating, and/or exploring. Our lake house has 3 BR, 2 BA, sun-room, and wrap around deck that gives ample space for that relaxation you crave. Or if it is excitement you want, head to the Marina which is a 5 min. drive to rent boats, jet skis, kayaks, or canoes! There is also a cave nearby to venture through! Come and enjoy!The Good Life is located in a quiet setting and on the outer edge of town, on the lake. With the beautiful wraparound deck it's easy to enjoy the outdoors and the natural surroundings! We are centrally located, minutes away from shopping and lake activity. You are ONLY 5 min. to the Bull Shoals/White River Dam and Visitor's Center, 5 min. to Harps Grocery, 5 min. to Bull Shoals Marina where you can rent a boat slip, 5 min. to Bull Shoals Caverns, and 5 min. to Dollar General. Also the Bull Shoals-White River State Park is about 10 min. away where you can fish for that trophy Trout in the famous and beautiful waters of the White River! Or drive about 45 minutes south and tube or kayak float down the Buffalo River...you won't regret it!Also, only a 1 min. drive away is Brown's Beach where there is a nice swim hole, boat launch, park, pavilion, and bathrooms available to the public.
