I had the pleasure of staying at Evergreen Manor and Spa last week, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The vintage charm of the property is absolutely captivating — from the architecture to the interior decor, every corner feels thoughtfully preserved and uniquely one-of-a-kind. It’s not just a place to stay, it’s an experience in itself. A special mention must go to Clayton, who was an absolute star. Professional, welcoming, and effortlessly friendly, he made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. He also arranged the most delicious breakfast — beautifully presented and served with a smile. The atmosphere was relaxed and full of good energy, the perfect way to start each day. If you're looking for a place with character, charm, and genuine hospitality, Evergreen Manor is a must. I’ll definitely be back!

We only spent one night here. The place is beautifull, very well located and super friendly staff. Room was well appointed, everything that one could possibly need was there. We arrived very late on a Friday night without prebooking, so would have appreciated if there was a small bowl of fruit or even a sandwich available for room order. Otherwise we had a lovely stay and felt very safe.

Access and staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us an upgraded room that they had available. The location , next to the Botanical gardens and a 5 minute walk to the centre and very good restaurants. The room was large, good storage and we were greeted with a complimentary drink. Outside garden space with 2 pools was very welcome in the heat of the afternoon. Breakfast was good with continental and cooked available. Would return to Evergreen Manor.

Rooms were a bit more quaint than expected at the price point but the location is on campus and close to Coetzenberg stadium. The facilities boasts pools but the spa facilities are not permanent and have to be requested ad hoc. The staff were friendly. Also there is not enough off road parking and I had to park on the street but there is ample street parking outside the venue as well.

A victorian themed lodge in a good location within Stellenbosch University and friendlt staff. Very welcoming. With a bit of renovation renewal, it will be a top rated place.
