The Stone Hutt cabins tucked away behind the Stone Hutt Bakery were a real pleasant surprise, I could not have been happier! As I was just travelling through they more than met my needs. They were very clean, quite roomy although the addition of say a queen size bed would have been good but certainly not necessary. The service was outstanding with nice country folk going out of their way to ensure that my experience was good, which it certainly was. The food from the bakery exceeded my expectations and was of a very high standard. The bottle of wine on the table when I entered the cabin was also an unexpected, but a nice treat!

Very comfortable cabins complete with cooking facilities,and very clean and spacious bathroom and living area .Could not fault the accommodation .
There is also a wonderful bakery on the premises where you can get a delicious breakfast- including egg benedict and home made bread and pastries . If you stay for lunch there are local wines to try

We would certainly stay again as the staff are friendly and obliging, the cabins are comfortable, the attached bakery is excellent. We did mention to the proprietor that there is an unpleasant odour in the bathroom and he said the toilet was chemical and he would look into it.

Yes the pies are pretty good. A lot of flavours to choose from, which is good. The chicken and Camembert one was really good whereas the meat in the kangaroo and red wine pie was overdone and cooked in overbearing herbs. The sausage roll was overcooked - extremely dry and burnt. Service was very gruff!! A smile might have made the difference, maybe.

Cute cottages in bushy gardens with bakery attached. Clean, well supplied kitchenette. Comfortable bed - we were in cottage 5 but they are all discreet. Checked in to avoid cold front during camping trip. Warm!

I was pleasantly surprised by my modern studio "hut". Stone Hut is a very small stop on the road between Quorn and Clare and perfect for a quiet night and excellent sleep. The bathroom was very good too. I did the historic town walk whilst there and also enjoyed a meal at the bakery.

Quiet and comfortable - Bakery was good for breakfast - hosts were very approachable - the pub in Laura they recommended was great for a meal and friendly.

Stone hut is a great base to stay so you can go adventuring further out. You are close the Flinders Rangers and so many other country towns. The bakery's are amazing. The folks are very friendly. Stone hut cottages are comfortable and have everything you need. I would take your own pillow as I found them a bit hard for myself. The shower is amazing!!! Bed is very comfortable
