We could not recommend Stonewell cottages highly enough. We have stayed all around Australia and the world and have never felt so pampered or entirely looked after so well. Firstly, the Host has been a dream to deal with, even when I messed up parts of our booking the rectification was made super simple and made me feel valued. The Cottage itself is just beautiful, and my Wife as a health professional could not fault its cleanliness. The way the Cottage has been set up is perfect. Everything you could hope/wish for has been catered for – a fully equipped kitchen and BBQ, cosy couches, comfortable beds, an immaculate bathroom, and an amazing cellar to choose your fav wine from. An amazing personalised wine tour was planned for us, including a taste of a tawny port from our both years (what fun). If you are visiting the Barossa, you would be mad to stay anywhere else. This is a gem of a place – get on board!

What a fantastic experience we had. Fabulous cottage nestled amongst the vineyards. Fabulous breakfast goodies in the fridge for breakfast plus a bottle of complementary wine. Loved the chocolates by the bed and the fudge and cookies. Highly recommend this as a place to stay when in this region. So many good cellar doors to visit.

This cottage clearly reaches the highest standards due to its ambience, petit beauty and the owners overlook on details that make a difference: Oporto and chocolate and a free bottle of wine upon arrival; an in cabin jacuzzi, beautiful vintage furniture, a cute little wooden boat to stride over the lagoon..and different to other similar high ranked self care cottages we visited, with a high preoccupation of the owners to make our stay unique!!

We have had a wonderful 2 night stay at Hideaway Cottage at Stonewell Cottages in Barossa Valley . A beautiful , tranquil spot on the edge of a lake . The cottage was immaculate , everything one would want and a super amount of provisions in fridge and larder . You are only about 10 mins from Tanunfa which has lovely little shops , cafes and restaurants and of course in the heart of the wine land so many many wineries to visit Stonewell Cottages are a haven - a gem of a place . Dont hesitate to book . Highly recommended Thanks for a lovely stay .

Well, what can i say! I have never stayed in a place so complete! The hosts left nothing to chance. If you have never stayed here well all i can say is that you have not experienced hosts at their absolutely best! We will stay here from now on whenever we are in the Barossa! Nothing compares and we have stayed in many accommodations such as this all over Australia and this would be the very best! Do yourself a favour and book!!!

Just a great place to relax & unwind. Good people to deal with. Enjoyed a paddle around the lake in the boat provided.
Not far from home in an area that we know well.
Have stayed 3 times so far & will stay again in the future :)

The linen was fantastic, the cottage was very well appointed and Tina particular attention to detail E.G. Barossa breakfast provisions, port, beautiful complimentary wine. Along with several bottles of wine available for purchase at a reasonable price. Very relaxing around the lake and lovely fire pit. This is a Highly Recommended premises.

A Winter stay in Tanunda was made exceptionally comfortable by having a warm and cosy place to come home to. Upon check in a welcome wine and cheese platter was just what we needed after a day of travelling and was much appreciated. We stayed for 5 nights at Cupids cottage. We were tourists by day and lounge lizards by the fire at night. Each morning, we had more than enough local produce supplied to us for breakfast, a selection of local wines, and a very relaxing view over the lake. What more could you ask for! We loved this little cottage. Our hosts were very accommodating, and communication was great. Our overall experience was excellent, and we would highly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful location, stayed at Cupids Cottage and everything was catered for with the celebrations package. Little extras make a big difference like the anniversary card and chocolate. Wonderful memories
