Fronalpstock Hotel & Restaurant

We made reservations by phone the day before for the a la art area. When we were greeted, it was said directly that we could not have any dishes from the menu. There were only 4 dishes, it was just the first weekend in the new season... Schnippo, Älplermakronen, goulash were available... At some point the waiter came and had 3x Cordon Bleu. When we commented that we had reserved by phone yesterday and especially for the a la carte restaurant, shouldn't we have been informed?! There is no mention of this online either. But then we ordered quickly and the appetizer was delivered. 2x soup was very fine. The remaining salads a cheek. Mixed Small Salad is Green Salad with a! slice of cucumber and one! Carve tomato!! This comment was also reported, it's just like that, it only costs 6.- but that's not sold as a mixed salad, is it? After the second comment, corn and carrot salad was grumbling... The main courses were all very unspectacular, alpine macaroons totally overcooked, breading as hard as shoe soles, more reminiscent of bread dough. After the meal we left very quickly and had dessert and coffee in another restaurant. What a pity... For us it was a Sunday to tick off, especially the arrival by funicular and chairlift is not cheap. And the excuse that it's the first weekend doesn't count... either you open it or you don't.

wundervolles mit Liebe eingerichtetes Zimmer (1). Sehr bequemes Bett, gute Bettwaren. Terrasse mit Liegestühlen, Decke für kältere Tage. Das Check-in sehr einfach, Personal superfreundlich, ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Während des ganzen Aufenthalts waren alle Angestellten sehr sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Menü am Abend war sehr gut ausgewählt und gut gekocht. Es gibt verschiedene Sitzgelegenheiten für die Hotelgäste um den Abend entspannt ausklingen zu lassen. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut, frische Eierspeisen konnten auf Wunsch dazubestellt werden.

Obwohl wir ein Zimmer ohne Balkon gebucht hatten, haben wir direkt - ohne danach zu fragen - ein Upgrade und ein Zimmer mit Terrasse bekommen. Das Zimmer war zwar relativ klein, aber sauber und mit sehr gemütlichen Betten ausgestattet. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist einfach traumhaft. Das Essen war auch gut und meine vegan essende Reisebegleiterin hat extra einen Teller hergerichtet bekommen. Das Gleiche war noch einmal beim Frühstück der Fall. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Sehr nette Gastgeber :-)
