The People - Strasbourg

Great location, nice for young people and solo travelers. We stayed in a private room with one big bed and the room was a pleasant surprise. Although, there are not a lot of plugs in the room (only two and one in the bathroom), chromecast is the only option on the TV and it didn’t work.

Honestly one of the worst hostels I’ve stayed at in Europe. The reading light at my bed didn’t work and it never got fixed even after I told the staff. The rain shower was impossible to adjust — the water was way too hot. No hair dryer available either. The bed also had a weird sticky smell which wasn’t pleasant. Pros: Location is great, easy walking distance to main attractions like Notre-Dame de Strasbourg. The building and neighborhood look nice. Common space atmosphere is great and hype. Average service from teenager staffs.

If you need hair dryer, you need to ask receptionist, but entire hotel, they only have one, it’s ridiculous, at least staff is friendly

The room is clean and the cafe downstair is perfect for quick meals. It’s walkable to many places like the big Catheral. The locker room is just next to the reception

I would definitely stay again. Clean facilities, friendly staff, and a great location.

Great location with easy access to everything. The hospitality was excellent — staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Facilities were clean and well-maintained, making the stay very comfortable. Highly recommended.
