Travelodge Stratford Upon Avon

Stratford what a lovely place to visit! All staff were very polite and chatty, welcoming on arrival, room was great compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in I’d say this is very clean. On departure was greeted with a smile and asked how our stay was which is good this is rare. Overall good stay and definitely will be coming back soon.

My recent stay at Travelodge with my family and friends was highlighted by an exceptional check-in experience, spearheaded by the efficient and friendly reception staff, particulearly Rejo.During the check-in process, Rejo took the initiative to inform me about the hotel's forthcoming refurbishment plans, promising an exciting new design for my next visit. This proactive approach to guest communication was greatly appreciated and demonstrated TravelodgeHotel's commitment to enhancing the guest experience.Throughout my stay, I found Travelodge to be an excellent choice. The accommodations were pristine and inviting, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of travel or exploration. Additionally, the breakfast offerings were delicious and varied, and the staff members were consistently friendly and accommodating.

The thrice of staff I engaged on a F2F basis (reception and breakfasting room) were friendly and taking pride in their work. The breakfast was pretty decent. I had the full Englishman / Englishwoman / Englishthem cooked offer from the hot plate buffet and the hot food was freshly prepared. Coffee from the auto machine was pretty good. The rooms are for sure functional and austere. But they have the core features like fixed bottle opener; tea and coffee; full length mirror; small tv; hairdryer (I’m bald); wardrobe with hangers; coat hooks; independent temp controls and a pretty decent double bed. There was a desk but no chair and plenty of power sockets. The extractor fan in my room was over bearing and imagine it was heard in the next room and I could hear a fire door banging as guests traversed the corridors which annoyed. But I’ve had that in more premium accommodations too. Communal areas tatty. Lunatic designed. It’s like a warren.

WORST HOTEL EVER 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. My experience at this wanna be hotel was absolutely HORRIBLE. I wouldn't wish for my worse enemy to stay in those conditions. There were skid marks in the toilet which indicated to me that our room hadn't been cleaned since it was last used, my roommates and I were settling in and we realized our sheets were ripped so we went to the front desk and asked for a new one and instead of changing the sheets they handed us a new one and told us to go ahead and change it. Since we arrived our room had yet to be cleaned and the garbage started to over flow so we asked for it to be taken care of and they said "your friends put their garbage outside so you can do that to" they then proceeded to hand us some garbage bags and go about their day. We stayed at this hotel for a while and for the entire duration of the stay THE ROOMS HADNT BEEN CLEANED AND THE SHEETS HADNT BEEN CHANGED the only thing that was changed by the concierge was the towels. Three teenage girls cleaned the room better than all the hotel Concierge put together WORST HOTEL EVER.

Enjoyed the stay not too far away from the town centre free parking and easy fast check in. Lady on the desk Lyssi was very polite and friendly and also the evening staff and night guy very helpful too. Room was fine bed was a good size and comfy no complaints from me.

Great service and an overall lovely experience. Easy check in with polite staff was very thorough on check in and was offered breakfast and dinner. Room was lovely basic but enough for a night. Breakfast was nice and friendly service felt very welcome. Thank you all!

The location on Birmingham Road provided easy access to the charming sights of Stratford-upon-Avon, making it a convenient base for exploring the town. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering a good night's sleep after a day of sightseeing. The staff Mr. Rejo was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any needs or inquiries. Overall, it offered great value for a pleasant and hassle-free stay in a historic location.

Tv in room remote didn't work, room was clean witch was good, breakfast was a complete joke. The coffee machine was what I can only describe as complete week undrinkable dish water, not coffee. We alerted the staff to this fault and we were told that this was OK NOT HAPPY. Me and my wife will never use a travel lodge again. Completely definitely by the hole experience.........
