Premier Inn Stroud

Clean and always friendly. Great parking facilities. Good food on offer . Staff are always happy to help. I have stayed here quite a few times when visiting family over the past couple of years. The only time I'm not happy is when I have to go somewhere else as they are full.

3 night stay as had tickets for Subscription Rooms. Travelled from Newcaslte Upon Tyne. We booked breakfast too which was in the Brewers Fayre attached to Hotel. Hotel staff were great. My husband had injured his knee just before travelling and was on crutches. Kerry on reception was great and managed to change our room to a one downstairs nothing was too much trouble for any staff member. Our room looked tired but spotlessly clean Radiotor panels that fell off all the time. The heat in the room during the night was unreal and we had the radiator turned off. There was a fan in our room but then you have the noise of that to contend with. When we arrived and saw it was Brewers Fayre for breakfast I wasn't holding out much hope as all my previous experiences had been dreadful. I need not have worried. Staff were again great . Breakfast was spot on and we had lunch a couple of times too and cocktails too. Think it was Aaron the Barman who made the best ones. Sometimes cigarette smoke came in through open windows when someone was smoking at the entrance of the hotel. Stroud it self was like a ghost town. Would I return? Maybe not! Unless there was someone I was really desperate to see and they were playing at the Subscription rooms.

Centrally, pretty quietly located hotel (good location if you attend a Sub Room event), free parking, friendly staff who were not TOO strict about our check-in times and helped us carry our suitcases upstairs. Option to refill tea and coffee in the room. Clean bathroom, comfortable bed, quite spacious room. Good value breakfast option in the attached pub and restaurant.

I stayed here for a couple of nights and had the best experience. The rooms are clean and all the staff are so friendly. Chey in particular was amazing, nothing was too much trouble for him and he took the time to have a chat. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The staff were all great and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Clean rooms, and efficient service. I will be back again on my travels through Stroud. I think the wifi could've been better but that's a given at most Premier inns. Special mention to Jodie for speedy check in

Amazing hotel with lovely staff, housekeepers and receptionists! Very clean and modern! Extremely comfy beds! Nothing bad to say at all! Will definitely visit again! Came here for my friends birthday so was only here for the 1 night but even from that 1 stay I know it’s super. Thanks premier inn.
