We had 2 apartments for my son's 40th booked this week end. With the cyclone Alfred looming I rang Lou with the dilemma of whether to go or not. She allowed us to wait up until our day of arrival at which point we had been told to stay put by our council. I can't tell you how lovely and accommodating she was. She allowed us to keep our apartments in credit without being penalised. We are not regulars but we will be from now on. I'm sure a lot of other places would not have been so obliging.

Sunshine beach is a fantastic spot and Costa Nova apartments were sensational. Walking distance to the beach and Surf club. Also walking distance to small shops with restaurants and coffee shops and small grocery shop. Derek and Lou who manage the apartments are great communicators.

Derek and Lou are outstanding hosts who go beyond to help in any way they can and are most welcoming. Thank you so much for your care and attention. There was a nice couple relieving the regular managers. Both were lovely to deal with. The apartments are spacious, reasonably well maintained. Everything is included, rubbish bags, laundry powder, tea, coffee etc. the beach is across the road. The best thing for us is the 627 bus across the road that takes you all the way through Noosa into Tewantin. There’s also great shopping at Noosa Junction. I recommend buying meat from the butcher shop there and having a bbq in the park. Great for families with kids too!

The communication before arrival was very good and helpful. Called once to ask something and the response was very friendly and helpful. The apartment overlooked the ocean and was in a perfect position for cafes and so on. Advice about where to eat was spot on as well. Very nice, clean and comfortable place overall!

The beauty of Costa Nova was the management by Lou and Derek combined with the perfection of Costa Nova. The perfect combination. We have been staying at many apartments but this combination was the best of the best. The apartment of 2 bedrooms was huge, clean and classy. Every request was handled immediately. We stayed 2 weeks. The ocean was so close you felt you could touch it, smell it, taste it, and hear it: perfect. So beautiful and relaxing. Our hosts went the extra mile by driving us to our choice of restaurant. Over the top and just fabulous. We will miss Lou and Derek. Lots of wonderful coffee shops and restaurants, plus the amazing Sunshine Beach newly renovated Surf Club. Colleen Pask
