Labranda Velaris Village

Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The basic room wasn’t great so we upgraded to one with partial sea view, which was lovely. The food was varied and delicious but never very warm. I mentioned this to the staff and the next night the plates had been warmed but the food was never served any hotter, which rather spoilt it for us, so we ate more salads instead. The pool isn’t very large and the water was very cold, so we only swam there once, but the sea was lovely, even in October. Nice, easy walk into town and we hired a car for a few days as the rest of the island is well worth exploring.

We enjoyed every single second during our stay in this hotel! Garden is magnificent, lovely beaches, animation for kids . Restaurant was great, delicious food. I would recomand this place to everyone!

Amazing place for vacation,especially with kids.When you come to hotel you have feeling you are in botanical garden.Then you go to reception where you are greeted with great ladies and so helpful with everything.Senada at the bar will make you good coffee with her smile and great personality.Food at the restaurant was so delicious and great quality.Executive chef so friendly and was so nice to see him helping around.Katja and Luigi were always there to help.Rooms are little outdated but with everything else being so great I honestly didn't care🙂.Beach bar so close for food and drinks with great people working there .My boys enjoyed everything from kids gym to kids disco every night and big thank you to the girls.For sure one of the best vacations and we had many and being in hotel industry for over 16 years every single thing exceeded my expectations.THANK YOU FOR GREAT JOB.

I've been visiting resort for many years and I love it - a lot of Mediterranean plants, lavande, fig, the surroundings are really beautiful. The food is wonderful, it's been in the past, but this year it's exceeded all my expectations. The whole place was OK.

Adorable sand and stone beach, recommended for family vacation..whole village covered with a lot of green plant, lavanda, pine, olive trees.Very kind hotel staff. Solid accomodation, but being cleaner is about to be for sure. Hotel pool ooen for guests. The best food offer ever experienced!

The worst hotel I have ever been to in my whole life. Do not recommend at all Everybody working there are absurdly disrespectful. Depending of the building there are no lifts , the room is terrible, the bathroom has never been clean and has terrible smell. The pictures do not tell the truth

this resort is suited for families with small children. theres the sandy beach nearby that visit also local families with kids. no relax there as you can only hear screaming children. the same at the hotels eatery-at breakfast and dinner. theres another rocky beach, more quiet, but you have to pay 15 euros for two beach chairs. old unfomfy beds, carpets in the rooms(!), poor cleaning service, no room bar refill. expensive resort without services. bad food at the beach bar. nice surroundings though, clean outside.

Overal good hotel except for the fact we were misinformed or rather not informed at all about the transfer back to the ferry to catch our flight home. Despite the fact that we asked several times during the time of our stay, even the night before, nobody could give us correct information until 20min before the actual departure. We just got out of the shower and had not even packed yet so fair to say this was not our idea of a relaxing return as we almost missed our transfer and our flight because of this. The worst thing about it was the reaction of the lady (short dark hair) at reception who blamed us for this and completely denied the fact we asked many times before. Her smirky comment “run!” made us angry as she was basically laughing in our faces. Not the service you expect from a 4 star star hotel to say the least. When we said well you can check it on the camera that we were here for information just yesterday night she said with a smile on her face “the camera is not recording”. We also had extra costs because of this because we did not have the time to fill up the tank of our rental car and had to pay an extra fee. Very very poor service of this lady, she should not be in customer service. Also we took a half pension arrangement but the buffet, that was advertised as ‘fresh from the garden’ was really not good. The food was bland and there was hardly any choice. So sadly we ate out for the rest of our stay. Another dealbreaker was finding a dead rat on the hotels doorstep when we went out at night. Otherwise the hotel staff was very friendly and the location and private beach were beautiful even though it turned out you had to pay extra for the loungers on the beach. We will not be returning for the above reasons but if you enjoy being belittled and laughed at by the reception staff go for it.

We stayed for a fortnight at the resort in the main hotel, which is four stars. We absolutely loved the beautiful location and the resort. The resort has lovely gardens and is right next to the beach. Staff are helpful and friendly. Our room was cleaned to a very good standard. The one thing we we're disappointed about was that we couldn't order any food (or snack) between 10am and 7 pm. We were there in October, if you stay there during the summer this is probably not a problem. We particularly enjoyed the sunsets from the roof terrace.
