Het contact ging moeizaam. Ik had een bericht via trip gestuurd en ze gemaild op het juiste e-mail adres alleen ze zijn het beste te bereiken als je belt. Ik wou graag opgehaald worden aangezien je in Surat Thani geen Bolt/Grab kon boeken voor 5 personen. Alleen voor 4 personen en we hadden ook koffers en tassen bij ons.
Het busje zou bij het station van Surat Thani komen alleen toen bleek dat dat we ergens in het centrum werden afgezet door de bus en toen werd het een drama waarbij we 45 minuten hadden gewacht, gebeld en gemaild hadden. Dat was super frustrerend aangezien de mails niet aankwamen en zijn Engels niet goed genoeg was om mij te begrijpen. Uiteindelijk werden we opgehaald maar dan ben je bek af na 6 uur reizen.
Toen we aankwamen was de incheck snel. De kamers hebben helaas geen balkons maar ze zijn schoon. Het bed is te zacht dus als de een omdraait dan voelt de ander dat. Maar er was een tv dus de chromecast konden we erop aansluiten om Netflix te kijken. Het zwembad was prachtig en daarbuiten konden we roken. Er liggen 2 kussens dus daar hoef je niet om te vragen. Het enige is dat er geen badlakens zijn dus moet je met je handdoek naar het zwembad en daarna afdrogen als je gedoucht hebt. Dat vind ik vies dus ik had wel een 2e set gevraagd maar dit zou er standaard moeten liggen. Water vullen ze elke dag netjes bij en de schoonmaak is top! Hoef je niet om te vragen en dit doen ze goed.
In het hotel hebben ze een koelkast waar je drinken en bier kunt halen dus we hebben heerlijk buiten gezeten. Tot laat is er iemand bij de receptie dus dat is fijn.
Het was zeer rustig dus ook de volgende dag hadden we het zwembad voor ons alleen. We hadden de mall gevonden en de receptioniste heeft ons geholpen om de supermarkt te vinden die op minder dan 5 minuten lopen was. En ze heeft een taxi voor ons geregeld die ons naar de pier kon brengen de volgende dag. Voor 2 nachten was het top.
We hebben maar 1 ochtend ontbeten en dat was minder dan we hadden verwacht en voor ons niet de moeite waard.
Al bij al was dit een top hotel voor ons om tot rust te komen voordat we met de boot weg gingen. Het personeel doet zijn best voor je om je te helpen waar ze kunnen.

To be honest yes it's not modern but for 1/2 Stop IS actualy perfekt on the way to K. Samui, Koh P o Tao I will come again if I am on this way

The pool is beautiful, makes you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. The hotel is a little unloved/dated but the rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. Aside from a Lotus shopping mall across the road and a bigger Central Plaza Mall five mins drive away there isn’t really much else around but as we were only here for one night before a transfer to Khao Sok it was fine and at £17 a night couldn’t really complain. Found an amazing restaurant a couple of minutes walk away and sat outside and had ‘hot pot’ with some local residents. The breakfast was the only downside, the food was left uncovered so it was cold and had flies around it.

A very unloved hotel . Everywhere you look maintenance is required . See large rats around the pool . The breakfast is okay but everything is cold .

The place got the job done. The jungle area in the middle of the property is nice with the trees and plenty of space to walk around the property and feel like you’re in nature. The pool did not look clean or good for swimming at all. My room had a really musty smell. Whenever it smells like that I’m concerned about mold. I don’t think I’d stay there again for that.

The hotel is aging but fine. The location doesn't have a lot but it's pretty 'central', as far as anything is in the town. It was fine for one night while we were transiting. Good shower, nice pool, good BBQ down the street.
