Q1 Resort & Spa - Official

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Q1 Resort & Spa Gold Coast. When we entered our room, we discovered that the only wardrobe was completely filled with the owner’s personal belongings, leaving us with no space to unpack our clothes. As a result, we had to keep all of our belongings in our suitcases for our entire two-night stay. I immediately went to reception to report the issue. The manager simply told me that the items belonged to the owner and that many of the rooms were like this. There was no apology, no offer to move us to another room, and no explanation that the only wardrobe would be unavailable to guests. If guests are unable to use the only wardrobe in the room, this should be clearly disclosed before booking so they can make an informed decision. The following morning, a member of the maintenance team came to repair the broken wardrobe lock. After the repair, we found a used, dirty underwear left underneath the wardrobe. We had to call reception again and ask someone to come and remove it. This was unhygienic and completely unacceptable. The location and facilities are great, but the lack of usable storage, poor communication, and the way management handled these issues completely ruined our experience. Rather than acknowledging the problem or trying to resolve it, management dismissed our concerns and offered no meaningful solution. For the price we paid, we expected a clean and fully usable room, and a much higher standard of customer service. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here unless these management issues are properly addressed.

I was on the 21st floor over looking the beach, excellent views, awesome location as you’re in the heart of Surfers paradise right next to the beach, tram station and a short walk to the entertainment precinct.  The room was tidy when I arrived and the spa bath is definitely a highlight.  Highly recommend the restaurant attached to Q1 (they also provide room service), they do amazing burgers and have an awesome vibe.

Great location and the room is very spacious! Staffs were very friendly. Offered free secured undercover parking. Will be back next time.

Superb view at Q1. It shares the same building as skypoint. Free secured parking is a big plus. The room is spacious and has washing machine with dryer. Minimal interaction with staff, only at check-in. Did an express check-out with key drop-in while exiting car park. Overall, a very good stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Q1 Service Apartment and Spa. The service was excellent, and everything was very clean and well-maintained throughout our visit. We especially loved environment — such a highlight of our stay! The room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view that made the experience even more enjoyable. Even the little details stood out, like the shampoo, which smelled amazing. Overall, a great place to stay, and we would definitely come back again!
