Philippine Gateway Hotel

Booked a room around 10am for 3 they said standard CHECK-IN TIME IS 2:00pm. Then went back here before 2pm and they said we have to wait another 30 minutes cause the room is still not clean, around 2:30pm no one even try to accommodate us and still room is not available, staff is not approachable.

Everything was true except for the high speed internet, they should have internet to every floors

This is where my aunt’s wedding was held. We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights and I can say that the accommodation was good. The room is clean and air-conditioned, the bed is soft and big, and their food is delicious, especially the iced tea. But I only gave four stars because there were things that bothered us during that stay. First, they didn't let us use the pool even if the cut-off was at 8 pm and we went there to swim at 6 pm. Second, there are creepy experiences during the night because there are knocks but there is no one outside once we open the door. The lights and water would suddenly turn off without a reason. But we understand because it's an old hotel already. Nonetheless, our stay was well taken care of by the staff and the wedding was successful so it was still worth it.
