Huckleberrys Bar & Grill

First impression it could do with make over every where seened tired sticky to touch. Room was large but basic no shower, but could look past that. But local good for bars, club and restaurants. Also free parking one site. However at midnight the fun began the noise outside was horrendus shouting swearing we had no sleep from midnight till five am then we had a dog crying and someone trying to use a key safe very loudly. Tried to have a bath in the morning, water very hot but cold came out as a trickle had to use the kettle to filter Cold water from basin. On the plus side bedding was lovely and room warm and comfy.But unfortunately WOULD not be returning. Will definitely book alternative.

We have just stayed for a night. Perfect city centre location with parking. We were made to feel very welcome by Di and the staff in the restaurant. The room had all the amenities needed and was well presented. We ate an evening meal in the restaurant, which was delicious (chicken wings, Slow cooked Brisket, Boss Hog Burger and Dirty Mac...yum). The bar had a great atmosphere and they played some great tunes. Would definitely visit again. Many thanks

We went for a drink after a disaster of a meal elsewhere, we were welcomed and staff made a point of asking if we were OK even though we only went in for a beverage or two ,the food coming out looked lovely so we will definitely come here for a meal in the future

What a lovely small hotel. If you’re looking for a clean, friendly and centrally located place to stay over in the heart of Lincoln you can’t go wrong here. We were greeted warmly and were very pleased with our Room (No. 1). It’s been incredibly hot weather and were delighted to find a powerful fan in our room. We had hoped to take our little dog but as temperatures were hitting the late 20s decided against it. They are however very dog friendly. A lovely shower, spacious room and hanging space for clothes. Some road noise in the night but the sliding double glazed windows sorted that out. Would definitely return.

Excellent location. Shops, Bars and Restaurants within easy walking distance. Theatre just across the road. The bed was comfortable. There is a small free carpark for residents. Wifi was great. Kettle in the room to make your own cuppa. Only downsides was going out to find breakfast and tv tuned into wrong local channel for the weather forcast! Husband didn't mind going out for a full english brekkie. The downstairs bar & grill serves tasty food.

We decided to have a short break in Lincoln as neither my wife or I had visited Lincoln before. We stayed for three nights with our dog and were made to feel very welcome by all the staff we met and were very pleased with the location as it was so central. We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant on the first night and the quality of the food was very good. We stayed in room 4 which was nice and quiet if a little on the small side. It would have been nice to have few extras i.e. complimentary shampoo/shower gel, hairdryer etc in the room as many places we stay provide these as standard these days. Personally we found the double bed a little small and the mattress soft but we have got used to having a king sized bed with a firm mattress at home so others may not find this an issue. This did not detract from our visit overall which was really enjoyable as we loved Lincoln itself and enjoyed the sightseeing throughout our stay and literally there is so much to see. We are happy to recommend The Huckleberry as a place to stay if you are planning a visit to Lincoln, particularly if you have a dog, due to its location and the staff who were excellent throughout.
