Mingshang Su Yue Hotel (Suzhou Taohua Wu Railway Station North Square Sujin Metro Station Store)

Overall, the hotel is pretty good and easy to find, close to the train station, about a ten-minute walk, which is especially convenient if you have an early train. The front desk staff, Xiao Yu, provided excellent service and upgraded my room. However, there are only two washing machines and dryers, which isn't enough. I stayed one night and couldn't do my laundry because they were always occupied, even after checking three times. The soundproofing isn't great; you can hear people talking in the hallway. Also, there was a persistent noise outside my window at night, possibly the air conditioning? It was a bit noisy, but I still managed to fall asleep. In the morning, I discovered the hairdryer wasn't working, but when I called the front desk, they quickly resolved it, so the service was good. I'm not sure if the hotel provides disposable toilet seat covers. I couldn't find any when I needed one urgently and had to make do. Generally, hotels usually provide these, so maybe the cleaning staff forgot to put them out.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights during my business trip to Suzhou. I booked the first night through Ctrip and extended my stay for the subsequent two nights. The front desk staff provided excellent service with a constant smile throughout my stay. The hotel's facilities and amenities were also quite good, and overall, I had a pleasant experience. The reason I didn't give a perfect score is that there's always room for improvement. I hope the hotel continues to strive for excellence...

It's a bit of a walk from the high-speed train station, but we took it as a nice stroll and enjoyed the night scenery of Suzhou. The room was clean and tidy. We booked a Suzhou day tour through the hotel and were very satisfied overall. This trip to Suzhou was excellent.
