Suzhou Sun Plaza Hotel

This is my second stay at this hotel, and I chose it again for its convenience. It's super easy to get around, with a subway station right downstairs. This makes visiting attractions a breeze; Qilishantang is within walking distance, and other sights are easily accessible by subway. Parking is also very convenient, as you can access your room directly from the underground garage. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Suzhou.

The room was very spacious. Although the decor is a bit older, it was clean and well-maintained. The location is excellent, making it convenient for dining and parking.

Every time I vacation in Suzhou, I choose this hotel (Sun Hotel). It's clean, tidy, and the service is excellent – they never disturb my rest and are always accommodating to reasonable guest requests. Plus, it has my favorite large bathtub! Soaking in it is super comfortable! The housekeeping is very thorough, so you can really relax knowing it's clean! Although there were some minor issues before this stay, the hotel resolved them beautifully and even upgraded my room, which I was very happy with! (Upgraded to a family room). All in all, I'm still very satisfied with the hotel!

Quite good, definitely not as terrible as some of the reviews suggested. The room was very spacious, clean, and quiet. And the city view? Absolutely unbeatable! 😍 You could see the Gate of the Orient (affectionately known as 'Big Long Johns') incredibly clearly, and the night view of Seven Mile Shantang Street was also perfectly visible and lovely. Transportation is super convenient: it's a direct high-speed rail journey away and incredibly close to Shantang Street. Plus, there are buses available to top attractions like the Humble Administrator's Garden and Hanshan Temple, which makes getting around very easy. Breakfast was a bit simple, but if you're not too particular, it's perfectly adequate to fill you up. They also replenished essentials like tissues and water very promptly. Don't hesitate to book!
