MERCURE SUZHOU PINGJIANG WANDA PLAZA HOTEL

The location is pretty good, quite close to the subway, just a few minutes walk. The room had a balcony, but the interior space was the smallest I've ever stayed in at a Mercure. The balcony was a plus though, great for drying clothes and getting some fresh air, which was a nice unique feature. The staff service was good; they granted a late check-out.

Everything was great! The front desk staff were very helpful, and the room was comfortable.

Overall, I'm very satisfied. It's great value for money, the parking garage is spacious, and breakfast is delicious. The room is quite large, the bedding is comfortable, and the service is excellent. The complimentary fruit upon check-in and the small departure gift were thoughtful touches. The soundproofing isn't the best; I could hear people talking in the next room, but couldn't make out what they were saying, so it was still acceptable. The location is good, just two metro stops from the old town attractions and very close to the metro station. Taxis are also convenient and cost around ten yuan.

Overall, the room was really good! The front desk lady was so helpful and upgraded us to a balcony room, which was fantastic! The only minor issue might be that the bathroom door didn't close tightly, so there was a bit of leakage, but everything else was perfect. The breakfast was great too!
