The hotel environment is elegant, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the service is very warm and thoughtful. The stay experience was pretty good. It's conveniently located right next to the subway, with all amenities nearby, offering great value for money. The Taohua Niang wine gift box is quite nice, with exquisite packaging and a pleasant taste, perfect for taking home as a gift. Highly recommended.

The lobby at Shangri-La Suzhou has such a fantastic atmosphere! The moment you walk in, you're greeted by Shangri-La's signature scent, which instantly makes you feel relaxed. The central atrium is sumptuously decorated, blending classical and modern styles with traditional Suzhou elements. The lobby lounge offers excellent drinks, from coffee to herbal teas – perfect for soaking up the sun and chatting, super cozy. The private dining rooms at Shang Palace in Shangri-La Suzhou are lavish and grand, offering great privacy and even custom menus. Their signature Squirrel-shaped Mandarin Fish is exquisitely presented, like a true work of art.

Shangri-La Suzhou, located on Tayuan Road, is the perfect choice for a family trip, and our kids absolutely loved it! The hotel is situated in the most vibrant part of Tayuan Road, with attractions and delicious food all within easy reach. Our room was on a high floor, offering stunning city views through the floor-to-ceiling windows. It was spacious and spotless, with comfortable bedding that ensured a great night's sleep for the whole family. A special thank you to our guest butler for their thoughtful service. They proactively communicated with us to understand our needs and made excellent arrangements. Any issues we had during our stay were promptly and professionally addressed, showing great attention to detail. The hotel's high-altitude swimming pool and children's splash area were a paradise for the kids; the water temperature was just right, and it felt very safe. As for dining, the buffet offered a rich variety, with everything from exquisite seafood to delicious desserts. The authentic Suzhou-style pastries were particularly memorable. Overall, the experience was fantastic. The service at Shangri-La Tayuan Road is exceptional, making it our top choice for family getaways!

Staying in a west-facing mountain view room at the Shangri-La Suzhou, Ta Yuan Road, was an absolutely incredible experience! The west-facing view is simply stunning. During the day, you can take in the beautiful, undulating peaks of Lion Mountain, and at sunset, the golden light cast over the mountaintops is so breathtaking you can't tear your eyes away. The room decor is elegant and grand, full of quality, and the king-sized bed is perfectly firm yet soft, making for an incredibly comfortable and restful night's sleep! The bathroom design was an even bigger surprise; its window allows you to enjoy the outside scenery even while getting ready. The guest butler service was attentive and thoughtful throughout, from check-in arrangements to responding to requests, everything was efficient and professional. The meticulous service made me feel so welcome. I especially loved the hotel's swimming pool – the transparent skylight combined with the pristine water quality made it perfect for a swim, and I was glad I'd brought my swimsuit. The hotel's location is superb, within walking distance to the subway station, and surrounded by a variety of shops, supermarkets, and restaurants, making the 'Tianjie' area particularly convenient. It's also quite close to the famous Mudu Ancient Town; if you're driving, staying at this hotel means Mudu is only about a 10-minute drive away. I plan to stay here again in the autumn to see the beautiful maple leaves. This Shangri-La on Ta Yuan Road in the New District is definitely the top choice when visiting Suzhou!

The hotel is centrally located in the New District on Tayuan Road, and the moment you step into the lobby, you're enveloped in an elegant and grand atmosphere. The high-floor rooms offer expansive views and are exceptionally bright. The guest relations manager's service was outstanding, from proactively contacting me after booking to confirm my needs, to actively responding throughout my stay. Whether it was travel inquiries or minor adjustments, everything was handled efficiently and thoughtfully. That genuine warmth and professionalism truly made me feel at home. The buffet offered a dazzling array of dishes. There was fresh sashimi like salmon, tender and juicy teppanyaki, authentically sweet and savory local Su-style dishes, and the genuine flavors of Nishimura Japanese restaurant. Dishes were replenished promptly, and the staff were quick to change plates, making the dining experience absolutely perfect. The Shangri-La on Tayuan Road has long been my top pick; it feels more like my 'home base' every time I visit Suzhou. A well-deserved five-star rating!
