The location was absolutely perfect. When you arrive, the hotel owner usually comes to pick you up and guide you to the hotel because Tongli is huge you’ll get lost, it took us some time to find because the owner was at the location at the moment because we arrived pretty late around 7pm. The room I booked was perfect, it was quiet and safe, beautiful scenery. I woke up to the sound of birds. Tongli is a lot of walking on bumpy roads so I’d recommend you come with your most comfortable shoes. Other than that Tongli is perfect for persons that prefer nature scenes and a taste of the traditional China rather than the city of Suzhou. There is a river right outside the window as well as spots to sit and enjoy tea. For the amenities, the hot water couldn’t fill the hot tub, there was little to no toilet tissue, the kettle stopped working after heating warm water one time, the WiFi was cutting off at times so we had to use our own WiFi. All in all our experience was great with minor casualties. I highly recommend this accommodation while visiting Tongli!!⭐️

Really nice and clean hotel inside Tongli Ancient Town. Really helpful host. Overall incredibly good experience and very pleasant place for a stay in Tongli.

Location is perfect, located at a corner within the ancient town for easy sightseeing yet away from noisy crowds! The room was absolutely beautiful and so spacious, came with a gorgeous view. There’s a bath tub and full length mirror too. The owners were very kind and even offered pick up from railway. Would be nice if the mouldy walls behind the bath tub could be painted over, or a shower curtain put over to prevent unavoidable splashing that causes mould.
