Hotel Indigo SUZHOU GRAND CANAL by IHG

My stay at Indigo Suzhou Grand Canal far exceeded expectations, and I have to give a special shout-out to Yuki at the concierge! From booking to check-in, she provided attentive follow-ups, proactively communicated about my room preferences, and even went out of her way to recommend suitable local attractions and travel tips. Her service was professional yet warm, patient yet efficient, truly making me feel at home. Such excellent service is a huge plus, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Suzhou. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all my friends!

The hotel's location is super convenient, right in Tianjie, so the mall takes care of all our dining and bubble tea needs. It's about 600 meters from Tayuan Road subway station. We got a great deal on the room rate during the Chinese New Year, and the extra charge for an upgrade was very reasonable, which was a nice surprise. Cathy provided exceptional service; as soon as I booked the room, she called me to offer an upgrade to a king-size room with a 2.2-meter bed. She was so thoughtful, even asking if we needed the kids' amenities in both rooms or just one. When we checked in, all the children's items were already set up. The room was very comfortable with a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom – my family loved it. The lobby is on the 46th floor, and the ground floor lobby's design, resembling a Wupeng boat with faux rock landscaping at the entrance, is quite unique. The cleaning lady in the morning was also wonderful; she offered to clean our room while we were out for breakfast, and when we returned, she had left four bottles of water because she noticed we had children. Breakfast is also on the 46th floor; while the space is a bit small, the variety of food is excellent, with everything you could want, including Aozhao noodles (I asked the chef what kind of noodles they were) and wontons. The staff member who showed us around even gave us some handmade lollipops. Everything was wonderful, and I will definitely recommend this place to friends. Thank you!

I chose the Hotel Indigo Suzhou Grand Canal for my trip to Suzhou. It's located in the Huqiu district, right next to Lion Mountain, Tiger Hill, and Huaihai Street. Just a few hundred meters away is Longfor Suzhou Paradise Walk, a commercial complex with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. It's also very close to the subway, making it super convenient to get around. It's a high-rise hotel with floor-to-ceiling windows, so the natural light and views are fantastic, especially the night views! The operator, Yuki, was excellent too – very responsive and helpful with everything, and the room arrangements were perfect. I'd called ahead of time. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Suzhou!

This design hotel is full of interesting details everywhere. Even at 10 PM, there were still people taking photos in the lobby. The room is incredibly spacious, and the sofa can double as a bed, which is super convenient for families with kids. The surrounding area is very quiet, there's a mall downstairs, and a subway station nearby, making it extremely easy to get around.

Indigo Suzhou Grand Canal was our top choice for our Chinese New Year trip to Suzhou. Its prime location in the Huqiu District made it convenient to get everywhere! On the fifth day of the New Year, we enjoyed a fantastic bamboo weaving workshop at Du Restaurant. The hotel facilities are new, the rooms are spacious, and the toiletries are high-quality. Yuki provided exceptional service, helping me with many issues. The hotel is conveniently located near Tiger Hill and the canal, making it a perfect base for sightseeing. Plus, it's super close to a shopping mall, which was a huge plus!

This was my first stay at the Hotel Indigo Suzhou Grand Canal, and the overall environment was excellent. The Suzhou-style design is elegant and sophisticated. Check-in is on the 46th floor, and the views from the window are fantastic, offering great cityscapes of Suzhou. All the front desk staff were very professional, and Devin provided warm and thoughtful service. The room was clean and hygienic. I highly recommend Hotel Indigo Suzhou Grand Canal as your top choice!
