It's within walking distance to commercial areas, offering tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle. You can easily explore ancient streets and visit gardens, yet still enjoy peace and quiet within the hotel – the location is simply superb. The room experience is incredibly refined and comfortable. The room types are bright and airy with excellent natural light, and the courtyard rooms come with a private small courtyard, allowing you to admire the Suzhou garden scenery right from your bed. The in-room amenities are high-end and complete, featuring branded toiletries and exceptionally high-quality bedding that is soft against the skin and provides comfortable support, ensuring a particularly peaceful night's rest. The independent bathroom is well-designed with thoughtful details, and the mini-bar is fully equipped and convenient to use. Overall, it feels both homey and luxurious, with every detail exuding quality. What's most heartwarming is the hotel's butler service, which is attentive, meticulous, and responsive throughout. They communicated needs in advance before check-in and were on call during our stay, carefully attending to every aspect from travel and daily routines to replenishing supplies. Their service was gentle yet discreet – special thanks to Ambo! The hotel lobby also features an adorable Golden Retriever named 'Little Sister Jin,' who is incredibly therapeutic. The open and relaxed atmosphere, combined with subtle hints of everyday life, breaks away from the monotonous business hotel model, preserving the unique gentle charm of Jiangnan. It's a niche, luxurious, and highly recommendable place for repeat stays!

A small yet beautiful hotel. The guest relations officer called a day before to ask about my check-in preferences and pre-arranged a quiet room for me. The room was decent, and the mini-bar was well-stocked. I tried the ice cream, enjoyed the social time, and the breakfast – I felt the food and beverage offerings were excellent. The service was also top-notch, with all staff members greeting guests with a smile. The guest relations officer also followed up on my stay experience. I saw a list in the room detailing many items available for guests to borrow; although I didn't use them, it left a great impression. It was also my first time seeing coconuts offered at breakfast in a hotel in mainland China.

She provided 360-degree care, helping us perfectly with parking and even a package we couldn't pick up ourselves. Kimpton truly didn't disappoint. Breakfast was also exquisite, and with fewer people, the seating arrangements felt very well-planned. The service staff weren't intrusive at all; everything was just right. We love you all! My mom also had a blast with her mini photo shoot.

Furthermore, the hotel boasts an exclusive underground parking garage, free for self-driving guests, with ample spaces – a rare find in the core of the old town where parking can be quite expensive. The hotel itself is like an exquisite Suzhou-style garden, perfectly blending modern luxury with the charm of Jiangnan. Both the hardware facilities and the soft services are impeccable. Next time I visit Suzhou, this will still be my top choice.

From booking to departure, he meticulously followed up, proactively communicating our itinerary, and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in. He promptly responded to all our requests, was gentle and patient, and provided attentive yet unobtrusive service, making us feel incredibly comfortable and truly at home. The breakfast was also excellent, offering a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options. From exquisite pastries and freshly prepared drinks to authentic Suzhou flavors, including Suzhou-style noodles, pan-fried buns, and various dim sum, all were authentic and consistently delicious. You can experience the morning charm of Suzhou without even leaving the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable with complete amenities. Falling asleep to the sight of the courtyard water view was incredibly pleasant. This hotel truly deserves five-star praise and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Suzhou!

My elders particularly loved sitting there, enjoying the breeze and the view. The rooms are equipped with Dyson hair dryers, silent air conditioners, handheld garment steamers, and even a yoga mat, full of thoughtful details. The rooms are clean and tidy, with good sound insulation, allowing for a peaceful rest after a day of sightseeing. The hotel's breakfast buffet offers a rich variety, catering to both northern and southern palates, with Chinese congee, pastries, and side dishes all readily available and delicious. The hotel also has a special 'Social Hour' from 5 PM to 6 PM daily, offering simple drinks and snacks to enhance the stay. The hotel's facilities are very comprehensive; the heated swimming pool has clean water, and the gym is well-equipped. The only minor point was that there were quite a few children in the pool during the summer holiday. Although there was a small hiccup during check-in, it didn't affect our overall travel mood at all. Next time I visit Suzhou, I will still prioritize choosing Kimpton Bamboo Grove Suzhou!

In the afternoon, there's a social hour where you can enjoy drinks and chat. In the morning, the lobby offers pastries and coffee. The hotel's pool seemed to have many children learning to swim because of the summer holidays, but the water quality and temperature were still very comfortable! The mini-bar in the room was also fully stocked. This was my first time staying at a Kimpton hotel, and overall, I was very satisfied!
