Scholars Hotel Properties in Suzhou

When we first arrived at your hotel, the young man and the young lady at the front desk were very friendly and served us tea, helped us with our luggage, and pushed our wheelchairs, making us feel at home. The cultural atmosphere is everywhere in the store. The calligraphy and paintings on the wall and the books on the bookshelf make people immersed in it. The decoration of the guest rooms is unique and the rich cultural heritage makes people admire it! On the 4th floor where we stayed, the cleaner Ma Hongxiu was warm and thoughtful, meticulous, and made people feel comfortable. She deserves praise.

I made a last-minute decision and chose Book Realm (Shuxiang Shijia), mainly because it's only 2km in a straight line from Jinji Lake, so getting in and out is easy with no traffic jams. Parking is convenient, and the hotel is located within a park with three slow charging stations right at the entrance. In the lobby, they have a Guqin, Go, and Chinese Chess for guests to relax with, and they offer chrysanthemum and black tea, as well as exclusive souvenirs from the Suzhou Museum. The front desk staff were very attentive, providing welcome fruits upon check-in, and there's a laundry room on the 6th floor. The attention to detail is impressive, and the room isn't small, even featuring a small table with two chairs. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning was a bit old and noisy. Overall, excellent value for money! Highly recommended!

This hot springs resort on the far side of Suzhou from Shanghai depicts itself honestly in the photos...and they were very kid friendly. My children had a great time in the various pools and the restaurant/lobby staff were very accommodating. I have already recommended this place to two friends with small children. The hot springs aren't open until the afternoon though, so you won't get a dip in the morning before you check out. I'd recommend getting to the hotel close to check-in time or a little before to maximize time enjoying the pools. The breakfast was big, but mostly Chinese dishes. The area around the hotel has an eco village but it is mostly vendors and roads with cars and bikes flying past...a safety concern when traveling with kids. We didn't get a great feeling of nature here, although we did find one pathway up the nearby mountain which was fun.

Xucheng Building is as good as ever. When I stayed in a family room with my child, the front desk provided them with a children's toiletries bag, a rubbing paper, and welcome fruit. The best part is that they have a TV membership, so the children can watch cartoons as much as they want. The transportation location is right outside Exit 1 of Sanxiang Square, making it convenient to go anywhere, and taking a taxi is not expensive. I recommend their Aozao noodles and Xucheng mooncakes.

If you are looking for a good hotel for a good price, this is the right place. 4 star hotel with 4 star service at a good price. The bed was comfortable and the room very big, with even a sofa and a small ''living room'' place. If you are in Suzhou for visiting the city center and the touristic spots, this hotel is located too far from those, and even the subway station is not very close (800m), it took at least 30 minutes to reach the main city attractions.

The hotel is very good! The room is very clean and the facilities are very new. It is the best hotel in the industrial park. The room rate is a bit high, but the service is also very good! There are many types of breakfast! It is right to choose it!
