Beach Lodge

I have been staying at The Beach lodge for about 15 years and I would recommend it to any one, traveling alone, as a couple or as a family (I have done it all over the years) The staff is super sufficient and very friendly and knowledgeable. The bedding is always fresh and super white. The rooms are always clean and very luxurious. You can't beat the view!!!! The restaurant food, staff and overall experience is 5 star!!! The tranquil atmosphere wakes my soul every time. Sunsets at the Beach Lodge is a photographers dream!!! Maintenance are part of their daily routine. Keeping a property in such mint condition right by the sea is not easy, but Andre gets this done in a super fashion. The upgrades and new additions keeps adding to the wonderful experience. You simply can't stay in Swakopmund without visiting this amazing establishment. We'll done to Andre and his top quality team! Michelle (Cape Town)

Everything about Beach Lodge is great. The staff are warm and friendly and helpful. They made me feel at home and did everything to make my stay comfortable and happy. My room was amazing with a view you can only dream of. My bed faced a giant wall sized round window that looked out over green lawn and the beach 20m away. I fell asleep to the sounds of waves on the shore and woke up to that glorious view. The room itself was big with a nook, beautiful table with inlaid shells, refrigerator and tea, coffee and hot chocolate replenished daily. The bathroom was luxurious and enormous. A great big shower with lots of piping hot water, a giant oval bath from which you could look out onto the sea, a huge vanity for two. Lots of bottles of soaps and shower gels on the vanity and at the bath. Breakfast was included and it was short of nothing. Anything you could want for breakfast was on offer including wonderful cooked breakfasts. I loved this place so much and can’t wait to go back. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a place before that I liked this much. And it is really great value for money.

Absolutely Beautiful! rooms and views and calm surrounding. 1ST Floor is recommended as kids can play and run on the grass Infront of the rooms. Separate Toilet and Shower. Open Balcony Tv Coffee station Buffet Breakfast outstanding.

Very clean, friendly and helpful front desk and staff. We had a comfortable stay and would definitely recommend Beach Lodge. Location was also great as it is right by the beach, walking distance to the Mall. The kids loved it

From our first contact by mail until our farewell on our last morning at Beach Lodge, we always felt cared for by the friendly and professional staff. Especially the reception organized all our excursions exactly according to our needs and wishes. Clean room, daily change of towels. European power outlets! So we could leave the adapters we brought in the luggage :) Every morning being greeted by the endles waves of the Atlantic Ocean was a fascinating experience. The restaurant "The Wreck" impressed us by quality of food and the imagination and craftsmanship of the kitchen personnel. The wine list is outstanding, we never would have expected such a collection of fine wines. The service is professional, friendly, fast and almost invisible if not needed. The breathtaking view from the restaurant made us stay much longer than the official opening hours each morning. All in all, we recommend the "Beach Lodge" as a place to remember a lifetime! The only small shortcoming is the need to refurbish the furniture in the bathroom.

Excellent location, with an excellent sea view from your bedroom. The staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. The breakfast is well prepared and delicious. The restaurant has a great ambience and view.

Quite unique and peaceful place. Visiting Swakopmund has been an amazing experience in general: unique climate and highly versatile architecture. This is where Beach Lodge appears a perfect match to this exceptional place. In addition, staying at the hotel provides allows enjoying the quiet and peace in addition to enjoying the sound of crashing ocean waves, combined with the pleasant breathe. The personnel is very helpful and committed, rooms are beautiful and clean. I'd like to note the wonderful Wreck restaurant, which serves delicious meals, cooked perfectly and served very fast, despite being fully booked ahead even during low season. I highly recommend Beach Lodge for people, who enjoy comfort and ambient surroundings.

Our room had a breathtaking view of the South Atlantic and being able to enjoy it with our own outdoor space made it even better. The bathroom was spacious, the bed comfortable, the service faultless, and food at The Wreck was excellent.

Excellent lodge. Nice, bright, clean and airy room overlooking the sea. Breakfast was great and also dined at the restaurant which was very decent too. Nothing much to complain about, but only stayed one night.
