Don’t let the association with Best Western mislead you!!! The property looks fair from the outside but inside is different. Oh, where to begin? The checkin was likely the best part of the experience. The beds aren’t especially good, the ceiling has been repaired and looks dodgy. The towels are so thin, mildew on the plastic shower curtain. No coffee in the room, no kettle or a tea bag. Fridge worked and has a large freezer. Breakfast— the chafing dish wasn’t turned on or something as the eggs, hot dogs (yes- hot dogs) and potatoes wedges were cold. So there was at least cereal, muffins and yogurt and coffee. We booked through *******, should have just walked up in person to examine the room. But after hours travelling we wanted to have a place to just get into. The front desk staff were at least receptive and apologized for our experience. They brought out a person, maybe the manager; no introduction given. After discussing the situation , she was not willing to give any resolution. We really don’t have much recourse but will be reaching out to Best Weatern and NS Health.

Dirt and garbage under futon in room, did not get the room I paid for, cigarette butts all over the deck near front door. Hotel smelled awful.

This room was very spartan and not very nice even for the price of $169. This is end of October and beginning of off season .. other hotels were the same price. Should have shopped around. Being a best western we were surprised. It needs a reno or charge less. TV did not come easily .. needs instructions.

Don't stay here. Worst place ever. Full of insects and vermin. The staff are awful. I'd rather sleep in a dumpster than visit this place. Avoid at all cost. The place should be shut down and demolished.
