The window view was great and the facilities were excellent. However, I arrived early and couldn't check in beforehand. I left my number, and they said they'd call when the room was ready. But I ended up waiting in the lobby until almost 3 PM and had to ask the front desk myself before they told me the room was ready. It wasn't a very pleasant experience.

On the first night, we were assigned a room at the very back. However, because it was close to the hallway air conditioning unit, it made a very loud noise once things quieted down in the middle of the night. Location is fantastic, walking distance to Darling Harbour (aquarium, maritime museum, whale watching etc), QVB, Paddy’s market, etc. Room is clean and spacious. Staffs are very friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Highly recommended.

Staying in W hotel was one of the thing that I always wanted to do when I was working around the Darling Harbour area. Everything about the location was great, especially during the night where the vivid event was on. Walking to the new Sydney fish market take only 20 minutes or so. Walking to QV market takes about 15 minutes, and seafood in Sydney is much better than Melbourne. Some great restaurants along the esplanade, and the cost of meal is actually very reasonable, and you would expect to pay as much in Thailand Bangkok. The view from the hotel room into the harbour is breathtaking 24 hours. I would wanted to just sit in the room and look at the view from my office desk in the hotel room. However, the service was subpar. Long wait for check in and people in the hotel front desk are not friendly at all. I have had better service at LV boutique and Rolex stores.

We were there for a mini break over the weekend. It is extremely central and we were able to walk everywhere, QVB, Opera House, the Rocks, China Town etc etc. It is in the heart of Darling Harbour with a lovely atmosphere. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and the rooms are well appointed. Love the bathroom and the city views! We look forward to our next stay here when we go to Sydney. Definitely recommend!

The room design is stylish and modern, clean and tidy, and the bedding is comfortable, allowing me to rest very well during my stay. The hotel's public facilities are very well-maintained. Whether it's the pool, gym, or public areas, everything feels high-quality. The staff also provides excellent service; they are warm, professional, and promptly assist with any issues, making the entire check-in process very smooth. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
