I booked a stay at Villa Ibarra to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The highlight of our stay was the stunning view of the Taal Volcano from our room. Waking up to such a breathtaking sight every morning was truly magical and added a special touch to our celebration. We were also delighted to encounter a lot of wild monkeys around the property. It was such a unique and exciting experience that made our stay even more memorable. The breakfast at Villa Ibarra was fantastic. There was a wide variety of delicious options, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. It was the perfect way to start our day, and we looked forward to it each morning. One of our favorite features was the cozy jacuzzi. It was the ideal place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The warm water and serene atmosphere made it a perfect spot for some quality time together. Overall, our stay at Villa Ibarra was exceptional. The combination of the stunning Taal Volcano view, the exciting wildlife encounters, the delicious breakfast, and the relaxing jacuzzi made for a perfect birthday celebration for my wife. We are grateful to the staff for their warm hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. Highly recommend Villa Ibarra for anyone looking for a special and unforgettable getaway! Supplier Review: Villa Ibarra Tagaytay We held our wedding last November 9, 2025 at Villa Ibarra Tagaytay, right when Typhoon Uwan made landfall — and despite the challenging weather, our event was beautiful and successful thanks to their amazing team. A huge thank you to Ms. Marian and Sir Rob for being incredibly hands-on and supportive from start to finish. They made sure everything was prepared, organized, and running smoothly, even with the sudden changes brought by the typhoon. Their calmness and professionalism truly helped ease our worries. To all the Villa Ibarra staff, thank you for going above and beyond. Everyone was attentive, accommodating, and ready to assist anytime we needed something. Their waiters, housekeeping and security staffs were excellent — very polite, quick, and consistently checking on our guests’ needs. Despite the weather, our special day turned out perfect, and we are so grateful to have celebrated it in a venue with such a dedicated and hardworking team. Highly recommending Villa Ibarra Tagaytay for couples looking for a dependable venue with exceptional service. ❤️

Celebrated our mom's 70th birthday at Villa Ibarra and they did not disappoint! From the time we've started coordinating with them up to the event completion, Marian went up and beyond to provide assistance to all our questions and needs. The event place was lovely having a direct view of Taal volcano. The rooms are impecably clean and spacious and the food was great! Thanks Villa Ibarra for the memorable event!

Good location. A big residence converted to a small hotel. It would be great for big families booking all the rooms. We could hear the traffic and the ongoing event from the room. Some breakfast choices were not available.

I've been coming to the phillipines for several years, have been to a vast variety of hotels from small to big, but as hard as this is to say, this must have been the worse hotel I have stayed at. I'll start with the positive and the overwhelmingly negative aspects of this place. PROS: 1.) The views from the room are incredible. A crystal clear beautiful view of Mt Taal which is breathtaking, from no matter which angle of the facility your at. 2.) The location is very ideal, planting you right in the middle of Tagaytay. Quick and easy access to some of the popular sites like skyranch, to Ayala Mall. Location is nice. CONS: 1.) Rooms are dirty and extemely inadequate. I rented the honeymoon suite for my wife and I, and was shocked to see dirty bed sheets in their honeymoon suite. Along with the landline phone not working at all. The 'jacuzzi' bathtub didn't work at all, along with the water barely getting hot. The air-conditioner was an older Daiken model that sounded like an old motor bike operating. The smell on the outside of the room smelled like an open sewer as well. 2.) Room service seems non existent at this place as well. My wife and I stayed 2 nights, no room cleaning was done at all. Had to go to the front desk just to ask for a roll of toilet paper and two fresh towels. We were the only ones staying there and from someone who comes from a hospitality background, there really is no reasoning for this. 2/5 and that is being extremly generous.

I like the closeness to nature. The view is very good but can be great if the windows outside are clean.

Our stay at Villa Ibarra Tagaytay was nothing short of exceptional. We booked the Romantic Room, which offered breathtaking views of the Taal Volcano, providing a serene backdrop that both my wife and kids enjoyed. The room itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The highlight of our experience was undoubtedly the Saturday Dinner Buffet. The spread was diverse, with a variety of delicious options that catered to all our tastes. Every dish was a culinary delight. Lechon Belly is one of my favorite and the best part is you can create your own Halo-halo. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. Villa Ibarra Tagaytay truly provided a memorable and satisfying experience for our family, blending luxury, comfort, and stunning natural beauty in perfect harmony.
