Hotels in Tunghai University Surrounding, Taichung

Very clean and tidy, the landlord is also very friendly! The entire B&B is consistently environmentally friendly. The only drawback is that there are few equipments in the room, there is only one bedside table, and there is not enough space for placing sundries.

This is such a great place!!! So cute!!! 😄 The entire places are well equipped with what you need, the price is wonderful, nothing you can complain about 😍 And they have women only(room &, share bathrooms), walking distance to night bazaar 😙 Highly recommended for your trip. The hotel is very easy to find, close to Donghai University, many students live near the house here, there is Donghai Night Market nearby, easy to eat, traffic, Taichung bus is free within 10 km, you can save a lot of money, go to the city basically do not have money The bus also basically runs until around 22:30. The tent is on the 3rd floor, and there is 5 tents on the top of a 30-square-tall metal roof. There are tents for permanent residents, and there is no way to avoid snoring. The toilet is small, towels and toiletries are provided, the washing machine costs 30, and the roof is also convenient for clothes.

Youth hostels are cheap and convenient for transportation. They are very suitable for families or backpackers to rent. Our family of four only paid more than 2,000 yuan a day, and each person only paid more than 500 yuan. It is really cost-effective. There is Seven next door, so it is also convenient to eat.

Hotel is located just 2 mins always from train station, very convenient for transfer any public transportation. And The main reason i choose this property because it’s just across to my favourite Foam Cat Cafe. I can see it from window room. 7-11 just a minute away. Breakfast not many varieties but ok for local hotel. Staffs are very helpful and good English Skill.

Very nice motel. Price reasonable. Staff good service and friendly. Plenty of kids friendly hotel decorations. Location strategic and near Taichung train station. Highly recommended.

The hostel is conveniently located near the Taichung railway station, providing easy access to convenience stores, several nice restaurants, and famous tourist spots such as Miyahara. The interior decoration of the hostel is modern with a pleasant Nordic vibe. The public area offers an excellent view of the Taichung station, providing a relaxed atmosphere - I thoroughly enjoyed it! The room, including the shared bathroom, is very clean and well-maintained. Additionally, the travel logs inside the room document the experiences of previous guests, which was a delightful and enriching read. The only issue I encountered was that the air conditioning inside the room wasn't cool enough, which posed a challenge during hot September nights.

For a budget hotel this hotel is a good deal. Although the room is very small (quite a struggle to fit a medium or large size luggage), it’s clean, with a good temperature control and a good firm bed with comfortable blanket (pillow is a bit on the soft side, and only 1 pillow supplied). The breakfast meal is just alright (asian/chinese style breakfast with soup, egg dish, cooked vegetables and stir-fry meat, no fruits, yogurt or salad). The location is amazing, short walk to Taichung station, bus stops and very close to 7-11, supermarkets and Taroko Mall. The hotel doesn’t provide too many amenities (slippers available from the lobby, other amenities are available for purchase from the lobby, kettle and cups are available, 2 water bottles are provided daily). Overall this hotel provides an adequate lodging in a convenient location.

The air conditioning system is a bit big (the service staff told me that the temperature is being adjusted) but it takes too long... We are on a business trip for work... we need to write it off Unable to issue unified invoice⋯Somewhat unreasonable

The appearance of the hotel is relatively old, but the rooms are okay. The hot water was very unstable in the morning, one moment was cold and the other was super hot. The air conditioner is amazing. It was originally 21.5, but I adjusted it to 25. When I woke up the next day, it was still 21.5. Poor soundproofing. The hotel is very close to Taichung Railway Station and two night markets, about 20 minutes' walk.
