This time we stayed in the Superior King Room. The room size is decent when used with a king sized bed. The bath tub is a dated design but effective. The shower & toilet are separate, which is good. Water from the shower was able to drain quickly due to the gradiant of the floor (some craftsmen nowadays forget this basic requirement).

Booked a family room for 4 nights. The hotel is strategically located beside Qsquare shopping mall and an overhead bridge to Taipei Main Station. It is very convenient.
The hotel lobby reception is located at 6th floor and the check-in is seamless. I enjoy the cosy ambience and the warm service provided by the staffs.
The family room is comfortable for a family of four with ample space for our three luggages.
We also enjoyed a dinner at Le Palais (a three stars Michelin) cantonese restaurant. However we don’t recommend the breakfast buffet as the spread of food is pretty simple (probably because we stayed over at Fleur De Chine Hotel too) and there are also many local F&B shops surrounding the hotel. Technically breakfast is easily available everywhere.
As for the amenities, there is no swimming pool or any playground for children. Also no provision of washing machines or dryers for laundry.
Overall, we do enjoy the hotel and will definitely book again for our next holiday in Taipei 😄😄😄🎉🎉

This hotel is like hotel deluna🤣 Their decorations are stunning. However, I don’t prefer the shower room and toilet room in this way. They are separated, that’s fine. But, it’s not practical in a way. Besides that, I love all the thing. Also we got a wine for the complementary in our room too. All staff are nice and have service minded.

Great location with access to Malls, MRT, Airport Express and the bus station. Room was large and clean with a good comfortable bed and good facilities including a bidet toilet with heated seat etc. Lighting is a little hard to figure out as others have previously mentioned, but you do get used to it. Club/VIP lounge was great and well worth it to anyone who drinks alcohol, snacks were a little repetitive and not much on offer, don't expect to have a proper Lunch or Dinner here, the staff in the VIP room were exeptional and I must mention Polly and Sarah, who went out of their way to provide great service. Porters at the ground floor were also very helpful and provide umbrellas if required. Highly reccomend a stay at the Palais De Chine in Taipei!

This is my second time staying in Palais de Chine. Really enjoyed it the first time so came back again. This time, we were given a 30sqm room even though we paid for a 37sqm room for some reason, but my husband said not to say anything as it's just for one night. The room was nice enough with a very nice bath in the corner. We had an executive room so had access to the lounge. Nice set-up with snacks and drinks and service was good. They were also nice enough to pack some breakfast for us as we couldn't make it due to prior engagements. Would happily stay here again.
