Viang Tak Riverside Hotel

The accommodation is located on two main roads: one side faces the Ping River, and the other is next to a fresh market, which gets very busy in the mornings. 1. **Rooms**: Quite old with dusty carpets and worn-out towels. There's no conditioner or lotion provided. We were in Building 3; the stairwell was poorly lit and had a musty smell. However, the view of the suspension bridge was beautiful. 2. **Service**: The same staff member handled both parking and security. There wasn't enough parking, and the guard directed us to park on the street in front of the market, which was very crowded with cars in the morning. Ironically, motorcycles were allowed to park in the main parking area instead. The front desk staff, on the other hand, were lovely. They helped carry our luggage, found a parking spot, and apologized for the inconvenience. 3. **Location**: Directly across from the Ping River, which you'd expect to be pleasant in the morning. However, it turned out to be a dumping ground for trash and smelled strongly of urine along the entire stretch, making it impossible to walk there.

Excellent facilities, beautiful views, and great value for money.

Tat Phu is a great choice. The surrounding area is perfect for those who enjoy exploring local night markets and morning markets; it's right downstairs! I especially love the morning market there – it's overflowing with delicious food.
