We have stayed in many Daiwa Roynet Hotels in Japan, and we’ve trusted the Daiwa Roynet brand very much. However, the Takamatsu property is the worst we’ve experienced so far, and after this stay we will be more cautious about choosing to stay at Daiwa Roynet in the future. The facilities are very old and urgently need refurbishment. The cleanliness of our room was also quite shocking. There was hair in the bathroom and bathtub, and hair on the pajamas they provided, as shown in the photo. There were stains throughout the room as well. The bedding used is also smaller than the bed as shown in the picture. If you’re planning day trips to the islands, the hotel isn’t very close to the port. There are plenty of shops nearby, though, so the overall location is ok.

Room was clean and location is the best. Car park right at the same building with reasonable cost, may shops and restaurant nearby hotel. Would definitely come again

The hotel is located above the Shikoku Bank building in Marugamemachi, with the front desk on the eighth floor. Minamishinmachi is right across the street. The area is bustling and transportation is convenient. There's a taxi stand downstairs, and it costs about 800-something yen to take a taxi to the JR station. There are public bus stops within a 5-minute walk, making it very easy to get to Ritsurin Garden and the train station/port. The hotel offers a variety of room types. I booked a twin room which was 28 square meters, spacious enough to lay out 3 or 4 suitcases. It's great value for money. The hotel service is excellent. When I was leaving for my next destination, the Kotohira Onsen hotel, I asked the front desk to help me contact them for pick-up. The two ladies at the front desk were incredibly patient and kept confirming the details. I'd give their service a perfect score.

This hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of Takamatsu's downtown shopping district, making it super easy to get around. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and the airport shuttle bus stops just a 5-minute walk away. The rooms are quite spacious and well-equipped, and it's a nice touch that they offer complimentary coffee and tea bags in the lobby. Really great!

Love the room floor space where i can do my morning stretch, and not to mention the long table space where I can do some read, work write facing the far off hills view with ample morning sunlight. Window can be opened, which is a bonus point. The front desk service team was splendid, polite and helpful, giving a pleasant feel whenever passing through the lobby on level 8 for change of elevator. Amenities were basic, tho good for me as I packed most of my own toiletries. Cleanliness can be improved nonetheless as i noted dust at corner walls. All else for a 3 star accommodation was good enough

Many travelers from Hong Kong and Taiwan stay here, making it generally convenient. There are plenty of restaurants downstairs. The hotel is located at the entrance of an old commercial street, two bus stops away from the port. The room is quite spacious.

The staff is very friendly and helpful . When I approached them first extra towel due to the one i was given is still wet, they gave me without question asked. Upon checked in, the staff helped me throughout the process.

The hotel was a bit pricey because one of the nights I booked fell on a weekend, but the service was excellent. The room was spacious (which is great value for money in Japan at this price point), the bathroom had a large tub, and the entrance area was also quite roomy. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touch of being able to choose toiletries, coffee, and tea bags freely in the hotel lobby. The hotel is conveniently located in the downtown Kawaramachi business district, very close to Kawaramachi Station, which is fantastic!
