The AC in KAUMA was leaking , The cake was put alot baking powder thus tasting bitter and citing of crawling insects in the room ie millipede.

Well maintained beaches awesome rooms and well gardens. Great ambience. Amazing welcoming staff like Tabitha. Fresh atmosphere and clean environment good for business and family vacations.Would recommend the hotel to any business professional and family people.

Very nice hotel and staff however the pool area and pool staff let it down. The pool beds are dirty need to be wiped clean and one end of the pool full of leaves and not getting cleaned by the pool staff who stand chatting most of the day under a tree. The pool area needs sweeping as the same rubbish is still there the next day, if the pool area staff did the jobs they are employed to do the hotel would be a better place altogether. We visit this hotel a number of times every year and in our opinion the standards in the hotel are good but in the pool area have definitely dropped below standard.

The new manager has made massive improvements within her 6 month tenure. The hotel is clearer and tidier. The staff and so much happier. If the new manager continues in this form she may take the hotel back to the great standards that it had when is was Kenyan owned.

The rooms are a little dated and need some maintenance/improvement. The buffet food is decent but expensive if it's not included in your package. I enjoyed the South African braai night on Wednesday by the poolside. On my last night, I ordered 2 beers at the bar and requested for them to stay sealed. There was a staff member who was at the bar and asked if I will consume the beers in my room to which I responded that I wanted to take them back home. Visibly upset, he rudely informed me that Kenyans need the glass bottles for refilling and I am not allowed to take the bottles off the premises. It would have been fine if I was informed without the attitude. I told the person working at the bar that I don't want to take the beers anymore and was given the nastiest, dirtiest look I've ever received. They also only give you one free bottle of water per day. When I asked for more water, I was advised by reception to visit the local grocery store to buy more or to order at the restaurant.

I have known the Mnarani Beach Club since 2016. The club is very well equipped and offers fantastic opportunities for business and relaxation. The large cabins around the garden are extremely clean and the location is quiet and relaxed. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable, the restaurant and the numerous options for breakfast, lunch and dinner (also on the beach!) have been a pleasure for years. The club continues to develop (not only in the sports areas). Half board highly recommended. Conclusion: Once you have arrived, you will always want to return!
