The room has cotton bed (futon bed like sleeping on the mattress and it is nice) Japanese style. The breakfast is not my favorite but it is ok. (Japanese food) The onsen there is natural hot spring, the smell is very natural. 5/5

The inn itself is old-fashioned, and it's probably fine if you're just looking for a place to stay. The narrow sink in the room bothered me a bit, though. The biggest drawback was the food. There was absolutely no explanation for the kaiseki meal, leaving me wondering what I was even eating. Also, plain rice was served at the end, and I really wished I could have had it with the meat. It wouldn't have been an issue if it were mixed rice (takikomi gohan). Being able to play table tennis and the bath were good, though.

It is an old hotel with onsen in an onsen town. The onsen is said to use natural water although we didn't smell the presence of sulphur. The onsen is a little far from the room and being an old hote it also looks somewhat old. Including our small group, there are only another 2 tables occupied during dinner and breakfast.

A nice charming onsen. We were a bit worried with some negative comments, but the place is authentic and although a bit old, is well maintained. The outdoor onsen is top! I cannot talk about the food, we didn’t try.

The hotel had no ramp nor elevator to move our luggage from the entrance up to the lobby level and again from our rooms on the 3rd floor, we had to lug them up and down the stairs. The toilet did not have a towel for us to dry our hands as the rail was held up by masking tape. The ceiling had discoloured patches damaged by leaks. Things were really old and not well upkeep. I will not want to return for another stay.
