This hotel boasts an excellent location, right near the Shinhotaka Ropeway and directly across from the Black Bear Zoo. It's a fantastic value-for-money onsen hotel. Waking up, you're greeted with beautiful river and mountain views right outside the window, and there's a waterfall just a short walk from the hotel. They have numerous hot spring baths, and the mixed-gender bath is also great. The absolute best part was the dinner, which was a delicious kaiseki meal, and the Japanese-style breakfast was also very good. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this hotel.

The accommodation is close to Hira Onsen and has several hot springs, separated for men and women, plus a mixed-gender pool where you can wear clothes. The onsen is excellent and the food is delicious.

This accommodation is really great! The shared onsen allows you to wear the provided cloth, which is perfect for shy people. However, some bathers do walk around naked briefly. The only downside is that not all bus lines pass by, so you have to check the routes carefully.

Hotel room was clean and spacious, had everything that we needed for the night. Room was a little warm and stuffy. Hotel staff service was good, even with the presence of a language barrier. Breakfast and dinner were honestly subpar, don't expect a whole buffet for you. Dinner felt like it was reheated. Breakfast was underwhelming. Onsen was nice and spacious.

Quite far from town and everything. It's good if you drive a car and would like to go to Kamikochi. Onsen is good and staffs are really nice.
