Hotel Kuretakeso Takayama-Ekimae

My overall experience at this hotel was very satisfying. The location is incredibly convenient, being very close to the station and within walking distance. This was a huge relief, especially when traveling with luggage or needing to frequently use trains and make transfers. The surrounding area also has excellent amenities, with plenty of convenience stores, restaurants, and other shops, making it super easy to grab food or daily essentials. As a base during my trip, the hotel was also very comfortable, allowing me to easily return and relax after a day out. Overall, both the transport links and the surrounding environment perfectly met my needs. This stay left a great impression on me, and it offered good value for money. If I have the chance to visit this area again, I would definitely choose to stay here, and I highly recommend it to travelers looking for convenient transportation and great surrounding facilities.

The hotel is conveniently located close to Takayama Station and Nohi Bus Center. It features a small hot spring bath ♨️. While the rooms aren't very spacious, the breakfast includes a Hida beef dish for each guest. There's also a happy hour in the evening with an hour of free-flow drinks. Nearby, you'll find Don Quijote, Edion, Junikaya supermarket, and Sugi Pharmacy, which is very convenient. The lobby offers self-service amenities like toiletries and coffee. If you opt out of housekeeping, you get complimentary drinks.

The hotel is located behind the JR station, requiring you to cross the train tracks 🛤️. Most of the attractions are in the opposite direction, so every day we had to use the 🗗 elevator to reach the JR second-floor walkway and cross the tracks. The room was quiet and clean, with two windows that provided excellent natural light. The hotel offered complimentary toiletries and skincare products, and the hot spring room even had face masks and foot patches available. The staff were all very pleasant. We only discovered the McDonald's behind the hotel when we were leaving, haha.

This hotel is very close to Takayama Station, though you do have to cross a skybridge to get there. The rooms are clean and tidy, and they're cleaned daily. If you don't need daily cleaning, the front desk will give you a complimentary bottle of water. They have public baths, hot springs, and free massage chairs. For breakfast, each person gets a Hida beef dish, and while the variety isn't huge, there's definitely enough to fill you up. The only downside is that the staff's English isn't great, so you'll need to use a translation app. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

Takayama is a great travel destination, whether you're heading to Kamikochi or exploring the city center. This hotel is conveniently located right next to Takayama Station, with a McDonald's nearby and a supermarket just behind it. The snacks there are even cheaper than at convenience stores and other supermarkets.

Just a few minutes' walk from Takayama Station, this hotel is clean and quiet, and the breakfast spread is fantastic. They also have a wall full of manga for free reading! There aren't many good restaurants right around the hotel though; you'll need to walk at least 15 minutes to find some good food. The Hida beef in Takayama is absolutely delicious – I was so satisfied every day!

The hotel room was very comfortable and clean, with tatami mats. We stayed in a triple room, and there was plenty of space. The shower was great, and the location was super convenient, right next to McDonald's near Takayama Station.
