Chisun Grand Takayama

First off, the location is super convenient, just about a three-minute walk from Takayama Station, and there are restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room layout is typical for a business hotel, but the space is much larger, and the bed is big, making for a very comfortable stay. As for service, the front desk staff were very friendly and thoroughly explained the hotel's facilities and operating hours during check-in. Hardware-wise, it's generally a bit old, but there aren't any major issues with functionality. The only problem is the shower setup uses old-fashioned separate knobs for hot and cold water, which can make adjusting the water temperature a bit tricky.

This isn't your typical small Japanese room; it's much larger. The hotel's location is also excellent.

Less than a 5-minute walk from the train and bus stations. Be aware that the hotel sign displays the English name, not the Chinese name as translated on the booking. The room was clean and well-equipped, just as expected.
