We drove from Kyoto. The hotel is close to expressway. VISON is like a must visit for traveller i think. There are so many good restaurants, cafe, shop and grocery stores inside. The hotel lies in Vison. The breakfast is superb. Please try Tempura!

This is the second time I have stayed at VISON since the end of last year. Last year we stayed at HATAGO, but HONZO-SPA was very good and they have a new sauna, so we used the HOTEL on this trip. There is a bathroom on the terrace of the room, but we did not plan to use it. It gives you some privacy, but personally I would prefer a lower tree than the terrace to have a view. The hotel breakfast buffet was good enough and the overall impression was very good.

There were no amenities in the bath.
It would have been nice if there had been an explanation at the front desk.
Perhaps I would have understood if I had read the explanation in the hotel more carefully.
It was disappointing that the shower at Honshoyu (Suikyo) stopped working immediately.
The shower at (Koukakushi) was fine.
The hotel and rooms were clean and the spacious space was decorated with art which was very soothing.

It was very clean and there was a lot of nice art throughout the hotel!!
The hot spring had a modern design and there was also a sauna, which was great!!
It was also great that you could choose where you wanted to have breakfast!
However, for the price, the overall service was limited and everything seemed to require an extra charge.

I stayed in a different room than last time, but the terrace was very open and nice! The bath was also like a semi-open-air bath, and the windows could be opened to let in the breeze, which was nice. I could choose the breakfast, and the atmosphere was good and it was delicious.

The location is relatively far away, but very convenient if driving by yourself, as it is just the IC exit.
The room is large and new, and you can see many stars from the terrace at night.
There is a market nearby. I regret not coming earlier
