I booked 2 nights, but ended up staying only 1 night and willingly gave up the second night because I simply couldn’t sleep there.
The room had a strong musty smell from the moment I walked in. The bed sheets and duvet felt damp all the time, as if they had never fully dried. The smell was so bad that I had to light my own scented candle just to make the room bearable.
The towels were another disappointment. They looked dull and gray, smelled musty, and didn’t feel clean at all. Whether they were actually clean or not, they certainly didn’t give that impression.
The front desk staff were lovely and immediately helped me change rooms when I asked. I really appreciated their kindness, but unfortunately it didn’t fix the problem.
If your room is in one of the first buildings, be prepared for quite a long walk to the beach. The buggy service is helpful, but during busy times you may have to wait.
The swimming pool was also surprisingly busy, even during the low season. What made me uncomfortable wasn’t the number of people—it was watching a couple making out in and around the pool while young children were playing just a few steps away. Some of the kids were literally staring at them with confused expressions. As a parent, I found it very inappropriate for a family resort. I understand people are on holiday, but I don’t think a shared family pool is the right place for that kind of intimate behavior.
Breakfast was delicious, but the restaurant was extremely crowded every morning. Finding a table during peak hours wasn’t easy, and many guests were waiting around. The food itself was very good, but the dining area simply couldn’t keep up with the number of guests.
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the front desk team. The only exception was one male staff member at the beachfront restaurant, whose attitude was noticeably less welcoming than everyone else.
Overall, the hotel is reasonably priced, the food is good, and most of the staff are great. But for me, a hotel is first and foremost a place to sleep and rest. When the room smells musty, the bedding feels damp, the towels smell unpleasant, and I choose to walk away from a fully paid night because I can’t stay any longer, that says everything about my experience.
Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.
