PhilaFrom the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, every detail of our stay exceeded our expectations. The resort is absolutely beautiful, our room was stunning, and waking up each morning to watch the sunrise from our private pool was an experience we’ll never forget. It felt like the perfect escape from city life.
What really sets this resort apart, however, is the incredible staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. A special thank you to Tom Cruise, one of our buggy drivers, who always greeted us with such kindness and made us feel so welcome. We were genuinely disappointed that we didn’t get the chance to say goodbye before we left.
I also have a nut allergy, and the level of care the team showed was exceptional. They provided me with an allergy card to present at restaurants, and when they made a reservation for us at the neighbouring resort, they had already informed the restaurant about my allergy. It was such a thoughtful touch that made me feel safe and well looked after.
This is true five-star hospitality. Thoughtful, attentive, and effortless from start to finish. We’ve had nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

AlexBassBeautiful resort. I stayed in a villa - it’s spacious, clean, and nicely designed.
The location is convenient, right off the village. There is a restaurant just opposite called the Gold Elephant that I really liked. The dinner in the resort is very expensive so I didn’t try it.
The breakfast was good - the kitchen looks amazing. But the selection was personally not my favourite. The coffee station was fabulous though: locally roasted coffee, and the gentleman remembered my order too, as did the host remember my room number - nice touches 😇
The room was lovely - the bedding was so soft and comfortable. Only complaint about the room is that the aircon was not the strongest, and the room is not very well insulated (single-glazed windows, gap around door). The location of the resort being right on the beach is delightful - you can always catch the sunset.
The gym was honestly a bit small. If you can get by with just weights and a few machines, you’ll be fine, but an open training space and a multi-use cable machine + barbells would have been great. The space was usually in use by a few guests.

Guest UserMy stay at Moracea by Khao Lak Resort was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that instantly made me feel at home. The staff went above and beyond throughout my entire stay—always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything I needed. Their kindness truly made the experience unforgettable.
The location is absolutely stunning. Nestled right by the beach, the views are breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Whether it was watching the sunset or simply enjoying the sound of the ocean, every moment felt special.
The facilities are outstanding and beautifully maintained. From the pools to the rooms and all the shared spaces, everything is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to create a luxurious yet welcoming environment.
And the food—simply incredible. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. There was a great variety of options, and everything I tried exceeded expectations.
I honestly couldn’t fault a single thing about my stay. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

The hotel is a 7-minute walk from the beach. I enjoyed walking to Nang Thong Beach along a dirt road through the abandoned hotel grounds and forest. There you'll see hens and chicks, roosters, cows, and coconut palms. Breakfasts are monotonous. The rooms are large and spacious. There's plenty of seating—two rattan armchairs, two chairs, and a stool—a rarity in Thailand. There's a large TV where you can watch your own movies from a USB drive. There's hot water!
I loved everything.

Overall a small excellent hotel. Very welcoming staff. Interesting breakfasts. A stunning orange fridge and magnificent coffee. Very striking the presence of a full refrigerator with a freezer. The room is equipped with a toilet machine.
Our rest was a little corrupted by the following:
The dirty ceramic floor in the room.
Plastic glasses and fuses.
There was no jacuzzi in our room and no hot water. No one solved this problem during the stay.

ป้าปอ(งง)ไปไหนอีกแล้วI was very impressed with my stay at Pullman Khao Lak Resort. There's no need to leave; there are plenty of activities to do. The hotel has a great, peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The resort itself is beautiful and right by the beach, with a large swimming pool. The overall ambiance is lush and private.
The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable! The staff were lovely and provided excellent service, always smiling and ready to help. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices.
It's suitable for both couples and families looking for a chill vacation in Khao Lak. I'll definitely come back again if I have the chance.

To dear,Great price, and the accommodation is right on the main road. I called ahead to check in early, and the staff were excellent, very smiley. The housekeeper had even turned on the air conditioning for me.
The room was spacious, as was the bathtub. The bathroom water pressure was good and strong, and the shower was fantastic. The only slight issue was a faint smell in the bathroom because the water didn't drain properly; the floor wasn't sloped towards the drain.
The bed was huge, and they provided plenty of pillows. However, the pillows were quite firm and dense, so if you prefer softer pillows like I do, you might need to find a comfortable position to sleep in.
Breakfast was à la carte, with traditional pork congee that you could order more of, plus one glass of a brewed drink. There was also a small buffet with some Thai dishes. The food was delicious.

RolfieAvoid Seascape Rooms Entirely - Lighthouse Works (If Upstairs!)
Our initial ”Seascape” room was uninhabitable:** overpowering mould/must smell caused breathing difficulties (tight lungs) within 30 minutes. Combined with noisy transformers outside, we fled immediately.
Staff moved us *free* to their ”Lighthouse” hotel across the road. **Beware the ground floor:** our Lighthouse room had the same severe damp/mould issue. **After one awful night, we paid extra to upgrade to a 3rd-floor sea view room.**
**This saved the stay:** The upstairs Lighthouse room was fresh, clean, comfortable (great beds/linen) with lovely views. Free water on each floor was appreciated. We extended from 5 to 7 nights here.
**Serious Issues Remain:**
1. **Seascape Building:** Avoid entirely - severe mould makes it unfit.
2. **Lighthouse Ground Floor:** Same mould/damp problem. **Only higher floors are acceptable.**
3. **Pool:** Excess chlorine on Day 1 bleached my wife's black leggings brown. Check levels before swimming.
**Bottom Line:** Only stay if you can *guarantee* an **upstairs room in the Lighthouse**. Never accept any Seascape rooms or Lighthouse ground floor rooms. The hotel must fix pervasive mould issues.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is interesting. We had a sea view room (though the lawn in front of the sea, which belongs to the hotel, was a bit unkempt). The room itself was beautiful, comfortable, and spacious, and the balcony was great too.
The pool is open until 10 PM, and there's a water cooler in the common hallway, so no issues with water. Breakfasts were tasty, and the staff were polite and pleasant. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end.
Regarding the negatives: upon check-in, we found a huge cockroach on the curtain. How it could have been missed when preparing the room is a mystery. We didn't make a fuss; we just caught the cockroach ourselves and released it onto the lawn (there were two in total), oh well, these things happen.
The biggest drawback, which overshadowed all the positives, was the non-functional air conditioning system. It's a central system, and it seems like maintenance has been completely neglected. When we contacted reception, an engineer came up and showed us how to adjust it (only two modes: 22°C and 21°C; other temperature settings didn't work). The room was 29°C. The AC blew slightly but didn't cool.
Because of this, we canceled our extended booking and moved to a proper hotel with a working air conditioner. And where the AC unit draws air, there was a thick layer of dust...
The hotel itself is great, but the air conditioning, or rather its lack of proper function, ruined everything.

Khaolak Wanaburee Resort is an ideal place for those who appreciate nature, comfort, and tranquility.
Pros: The hotel boasts a large, well-maintained area with a beautiful landscape design. It has everything: direct beach access, a picturesque stream, and even a lake. The rooms are very clean, modern, and truly meet the standards of a 5-star hotel. Daily housekeeping ensures impeccable cleanliness. The charming bridges connecting different parts of the property add a special touch. Walking across them feels like being in untouched jungles. The beach is well-equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, and there’s a cozy beachside café nearby where you can have lunch or dinner while enjoying the sea view. The resort’s territory is full of life: you’ll see many butterflies and even friendly monitor lizards wandering around, adding to the tropical paradise vibe.
Cons: Breakfasts could be more varied, especially in terms of fresh pastries.
Good to know: The nearest 7/11 or town café is about a 15-minute walk away (there’s a sidewalk). If you prefer not to walk, a taxi costs 100 baht.
The closest self-service laundry is a 15-minute drive away (400 baht).
Overall, Khaolak Wanaburee Resort is a perfect choice for those looking to relax in harmony with nature while enjoying comfort and quality service. Highly recommended!
