Hyatt Place Tampa Airport

the hotel looked great on the internet. My wife and i (senior citizens) and handicapped) arrived late afternoon after driving 4.5 hours. The hotel is being renovated. unable to park in front of the hotel because of construction we had to park in the back near a dumpster. the parking lot was filled with construction debris. the back door led to a makeshift check in desk. I would have left but we were exhausted from our road trip. We checked in and proceeded to the elevator nad construction workers were in and out carrying construction demolition debris in and out of the elevators. We were very disappointed in the mess and decided to stay because we had medical appointment the next morning.. I fell we should have been notified about the major construction when we booked the room which cost $293 for 2 nights.. In the day the construction noise was annoying. . What a mistake staying at this hotel.. This was the worst 2 day hotel stay ever. I feel that i should be compensated with a refund.

Overall that was a very decent stay at hyatt. And the service is acceptable.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place! We were welcomed at check-in by a genuinely kind and attentive employee, our room was clean and spacious and so quiet it was hard to believe we were at a hotel near the airport! The location is convenient to shopping, restaurants and not far from major roads- we’d absolutely stay here again!

Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean, breakfast buffet had many options. Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and close to Raymond James stadium if in town for a Bucs game!

We stayed at Hyatt Place Tampa Airport/Westshore for one night. The room was spacious and met our basic needs. The double beds were comfortable but smaller than expected. The bathroom was quite tight and could use some updating. The location is convenient, with restaurants within walking distance, and it worked fine for a short stay. I did ask for a late checkout, which was granted, though the interaction felt a bit abrupt. Overall, it served its purpose for one night, but we would not stay longer than that.

An amazing stay! Staff super friendly, front desk very accommodating, full breakfast, close to Raymond James Stadum, airport, westshore mall. Anytime I go to a Bucs game…. This is my place!! 110% recommended!!

Rooms are beautiful and very clean. Front desk and lobby lounge staff are great!!!

Room and staff were great. Breakfast was awful. Only one elevator worked.
