This is a small, unassuming hotel in downtown Tampa with a fantastic ambiance and excellent service. We stayed during the Christmas season, and while other well-known chain hotels in the area had drastically increased their prices, this one barely did! There's a restaurant downstairs where you can have coffee and breakfast during the day and drinks at the bar in the evening. My favorite feature was the $20 credit per room, which can be used for drinks or meals (see picture 5).
The only downside is that parking is scarce downtown, so the hotel doesn't have its own parking lot, only valet parking. There's a public parking lot nearby, but it seems overnight parking isn't allowed. Those driving should consider parking options. Otherwise, I thought it was great!
