5star ? No unfortunately not , I did get a good deal on a 3 night stay but the hotel is very dated and needs renovating , dirty carpets in rooms , plugs won’t charge and air conditioning was broken, lift was broken , stairs and fire exits blocked ,and if you wanted to go out to the beach you had to get security guard to unlock gate , also the staff don’t speak much English and the breakfast was very disappointing mostly hot food not suitable for early morning. We had a meal in the restaurant but had it spoilt by very loud Moroccan music band that went on for over an hour it was authentic 😂 but when your trying to relax and eat and have a conversation it was impossible . We booked a sea view room but didn’t get one and the reception did eventually change our room , there was building work going on everyday early , guys working to dig up patio with loud drills that covered our balcony in dust with our clothes and towels on , couldn’t relax by the pool due to noise and ants crawling everywhere , rocks in the pool and freezing cold water . The whole place needs painting and it’s very old building , everything is falling apart , I’ve stayed in better 3 star hotels , also the area the hotel is in is far from central Tangier and we got constantly ripped off by taxis it was too far to walk , lots of dodgy people walking around and the beach it’s opposite to is disgusting , smelly sewers and rubbish everywhere… I would not go back to the Grand Mogador sea view because there was nothing grand about it !!

The hotel appeared fantastic, however, the room was not clean, the bedsheets had hair on them, the shower flooded as the drain was clogged and the floors and countertops filthy.

It’s a average hotel , the room was nice and clean but it’s far from city centre, if you have a car then it’s a family hotel

Love the location and staff was so nice there and can speak good english however drinking water was so much expensive there. haha..

Great place to visit. I recommend it very much. I like the experience and willing to come back soon

The hotel is in a very good location with beautiful scenery. You can't miss the sea view room, which is very healing. The breakfast is very rich. It is very convenient to go to the sea, and the harvest is slow. It is only 50 meters to the beach. It is worth staying!

RAS very good. Helpful staff, quiet and secure location. Very varied all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast, (example: possibility to choose the ingredients for omelette, Moroccan culinary specialties etc.) A little far from the center but taxi/citytour bus available. Beautiful view and direct access to the sea

The location, the hotel, the staff, the breakfast, I can only say it's great 👍 and a big thank you to Mr. Baro Abdelrahim at the reception who is always available with help, advice and action 👍 a huge thank you, I can only recommend it.

It was good, but not what I am used to from a 5 star hotel.

Swimming pool at the top / varied breakfast. Room with magnificent sea view Deco and furniture too old for a 5 star. Outdated equipment. Opening bay window difficult room and fridge not cold, Cleaning the room to review The carpet not maintained The beach next door dirty and impractical. Breakfast until 10:30 a.m. At 10.30 a.m. we remove everything while people are still helping themselves, I find it shameful.

Shame I'm really disappointed 😓
