Tanjung Point Residences

The apartment is absolutely stunning! It's very spacious, and with the windows and balcony, you get amazing sea views and the sound of the ocean. It’s perfect for watching both sunrises and sunsets from the balcony. The air conditioning system throughout the entire place is excellent; the living room alone has two units. Both bathrooms are very clean. The parking is also super convenient. Definitely recommend for a family stay!

Staying at The Suites at Straits Quay (30th floor) for our summer 2026 trip to Penang was fantastic. The panoramic views were stunning from our spacious three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment with dual balconies. Everything was meticulously cleaned and felt fresh. Getting around was a breeze, and taking a taxi to George Town was super smooth. The building boasts excellent facilities on the 7th and 8th floors, including a swimming pool and gym. Security was top-notch with card-access elevators and 24-hour security in the lobby, which gave us great peace of mind. There's a convenient store right next to the lobby, and just a 200-meter walk to the left brings you to the Eastern & Oriental Food Court, offering a wide variety of dinner and late-night snack options. For an authentic Nyonya breakfast, a further 150-meter stroll to Ah Wang Cafe (closed on Thursdays) next to the white pedestrian bridge is a must-try – their salted coffee with toast and half-boiled eggs is truly a taste of Nyonya!

The hotel is by the sea with a nice view. The room is big and comfortable, but there's no washing machine, which is a bit inconvenient. It takes about 20 minutes to get to George Town city center, which is acceptable. Nearby, there's the Tanjung Bungah MBPP Food Court and Wet Market where you can grab breakfast.

This is our third time staying here.. we love it so much.. beautiful, clean, and private.

Fantastic! Parking was easy, the room was well-equipped, clean, and very comfortable. The sea view and night view were top-notch.
