"It is more budget friendly hotel for families. It's basic, but adequate. Reception is too big and void of furniture and decor. I was given a corner room with door opening to the side away from corridor, though it made room smaller, but it was good as it prevented light spill underneath the door, and noise from noisey neighbors. Only partial view of the sea, as very high rise condos infront of hotels took all the prime estate. The shower is too near the glass panels and hot water doesn't work the maintenance guy have to come on 2 days to get it right. I hate the cold shower. The AC is cold, newly renovated, but noisey. TV channel is not the best, get to watch very old movies, like 60s. Breakfast is Buffett style, not the 5 star hotel type, but still a good spread. Didn't use the pool but it's fun for families. Getting to the beach is thru lifts on the 7th floor, which brings you down to 1st floor to beach, but access is only from 8am to 8 pm. Signage is no good. Wouldn't stay here again, though cheaper, but too basic, it's a watered down Holiday inn."

"The hotel is beachfront lobby with breeze blowing and nice view. The check in staff is friendly and helpful. But the lift’s light was broken for 10 days without fixing it. It was a bit scary in the dark lift. The room is spacious and a bit weary. It is near to the main road where at night you still can hear the vehicle noise. There is a walking distance food court where you can enjoy the local food. There are two times that the housekeeper forgot to provide us the bath towel and face towel. But they did send it after requesting it. The beach and swimming pool is kids friends. It is suits for family holidays. I hope the hotel improves their service and lift."

"The hotel is newly opened. It is clean and spacious. But the cafe is still under construction. The check in staff is friendly and flexible. You can park the car along the road in front of the hotel. It is near to main road where you can walk to the food court and Island plaza. The studio with kitchen is amazing. The room is separated by the tv cabinet. It makes me feel like home. The gym is clean and sea view too. It has a lot of equipment. The swimming just next to the gym. But the indoor swimming pool is not big enough if there is a lot of people. The is a coin washer and dryer that you can use too. They all are located at 15th floor. All the staff are helpful and friendly. We will be back again ."

"Excellent Location, not too far from Tanjung Bungah & Batu Feringgi or from Pulau Tikus & Georgetown. Love that both bedrooms and master bath faces the ocean. Bathing with the sound of the ocean (wow). Place was well maintained and clean. Sea facing view from the living room sofa is absolutely great. A tip for those who love to have breakfast by the sea, Oceano Symphony has the vibe, great food and view to satisfy all. Just walk abt 700m from the beach (tanjong point has a back door access to the beach). Or go in the evening for dinner, its low tide then. For breakfast hour, make sure you start walking before 8am for breakfast or the tide will cut you off the beach access after 9am. Price is a bit on the higher side but its a holiday... And you are paying for the view and good food. Otherwise, drive over to Biru-biru cafe located in Lost Paradise resort, Tanjong Bungah area."

"I had a pleasant and comfortable stay at the hotel. The room was clean, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The location is convenient, and the amenities were generally good. The only small drawbacks were that the water heater wasn’t quite hot enough and there were no plates provided in the room. Aside from that, everything else was excellent."

"Nicely decorated resort. Very laid back. Extremely friendly and helpful staff that tried their very best to accommodate customer needs. I recommend that you ask for a room downstairs if you are staying in a family suite for four persons. This type of rooms are more spacious and have an outdoor seating area and direct access to the deck. Must also try the cafe, Biru Buru. Loved the atmosphere."

"Self check in. Instructions and key box code were sent by email. No issues. Room was basic but clean. Stairs to loft bed have no railing so your balance has to be okay. What I liked: it’s very near the beach (but be careful going down the steep steps with a rusting and questionable guardrail). And it’s also a minute’s walk from the nearby food place with many affordable options for dinner. Not far from the bus stop. Penang’s bus services are not bad. What I didn’t like: the positions of the room lighting are poor, including the bathroom where the opaque shower curtain blocks the bathroom light, and the loft where the bare bulb is right above your head and glows even when off. I unscrewed the bulb in order to stop that. Also, not many breakfast options nearby. Music from a nearby nightspot could be heard along with some firecracker type noises some nights, but these died down by about 10pm so not a problem for me. In all, I would rate this place a solid 4/5 and I wouldn’t mind staying here again."

"everything is ok.. the breakfast food is delicious while eating you can see the sea.. the view is beautiful.. the location is good.. the beach is close to the hotel.. only the cleanliness is a little lacking in the room.. the bed sheet is dirty but a little.. the worst thing is the smell of the pillow is a bit less pleasant.. hope the hotel can make improvements"
