This apartment is located in the Island Plaza shopping mall ( now known as Island 88?). Its has a supermarket and lots of eateries. The apartment is clean, well supplied with towels, bedding and toiletries. There is a water dispenser negating the need to buy drinking water. Every thing works and there are ample instructions on how to operate their equipment. It even has a baby chair and some toys. The host is very helpful and very keen to ensure that we have an enjoyable stay, messaging us mid way thru our 6 night stay. All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay, from check in to check out, and would seek to return when we are in Penang next.

The room very spacious and clean. But the room wasn't well soundproofed, and it was very noisy due to the main road. Corner room have a very big window, it’s very warm when the sun shines into the room.

The stay was nice. It was clean and the host also very nice. Self check in so it was really convinient when I arrive late due to work and bad weather. Host also fast respond when I call. Definitely will come again one fine day. Tq

Stayed for two (2) night, but the room at the time we check in there are little ants below the tv, in the floor and also in the bed. We called the room service to clean up again the room, but it seems the room service is not well trained. Also in the second day, they gave new towel but the old one did not pick up we have eight (8) towels. We inform the room service because we need hand towel, but they bring towel again. We ask them to pick up the old towel. The amenities is ok, but for mineral water better hotel provide pitcher and water dispenser. Many hotels now doing that. The hotel will charge RM 1.5/bottle for additional mineral water. Small things that make us not happy. Before we stayed at Hompton, we stayed at international hotel chain in Georgetown and they provide pitcher and water dispenser in each floor. Just fill the pitcher and tumbler as much as we need. Breakfast is good, so many varieties of food and mostly all is ok. Nasi lemak is the best since 3-4 years ago I stayed there.

My family had a pleasant one-night stay at Landmark by Katana – Landmark Seaview Cozy Family Suite with Balcony (6 Pax). The location was very convenient, with fast-food restaurants and a moderately sized shopping mall within walking distance. I was particularly pleased with the secure parking arrangement, as the guest parking area is separated from the residents’ parking. The mattresses were very comfortable and allowed us to enjoy a good night’s sleep. The kitchen was fully equipped with basic appliances and utensils, making it easy for my family to prepare and manage our meals. The studio space was also well organised, with nicely separated areas for watching TV, sleeping and cooking. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay for my family. I would gladly recommend this place to others and will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

I had a pleasant stay at Ardour Lodge Penang. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any questions. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and find good local food. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend Ardour Lodge Penang to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay. I would be happy to stay here again on my next visit to Penang.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We had a family gathering here. The house is nice. Can fit big family. We had fun here. But I think the house is not properly clean well. The house stairs is dusty in the corner of the railing holder. Even in our bed room under the bed is very dusty and have some left over tissue and panty liners plastic. The toilet is not clean. It’s very dirty as I wipe the floor the wet tissue become black. The bed sheet also have bag worm. Luckily I already have some experience with previous house this time I bring my own bed sheet and pillow. So I change all. Didn’t use theirs. I just fold and put aside. The house swimming pool is ok except the part where the tiles is coming out and have some broken part. One of my family members feet is injured do to the sharpness. Also have some issue with checking in as we arrive at 3pm and wait until 3.30 the house is not ready yet. We come back after we had lunch at 4ish something we already Over all is a nice experience staying here. If u can maintain this place better. Will definitely and recommend this house to others. And we will repeat. Thank you.

A hidden hotel in a deep alley ・Good A small beach is just 100m away. The rooms are on the second floor and are facing the sea and residential, but let's choose the sea side. It's great to see the ocean at this price point. The room made the bed every day, and the shower has hot water. It seems to be well maintained. And no adhan is heard. ・Concerns The size of the room is on par with Japanese business hotels, that is, it is small. In addition, since it is a hotel for overnight stays without meals, there are concerns about security, so it is better to avoid it for single women and families. It's a Chinese environment, so you can hear firecrackers going off and people making noise in the corridor or outside at night. It may be better to avoid celebrations such as the Chinese New Year. ・Remark This hotel is located in a mausoleum Therefore, you can appreciate the uniqueness of the Chinese atmosphere. The lobby is on the 1st floor, but sometimes it's closed because the janitor is out to make the bed. Also, I visited at 12 o'clock before check-in, but it seemed that it was ready and I was put in the room, so I can expect a flexible response.

Location was great and the villa itself was nice. However, despite asking multiple times, the host kept denying us a slightly early check-in (e.g. 30 minutes or 1 hour) before the advertised hour of 3 pm. Further, when we finally were given the codes to the place, they were wrong and we were stuck outside the house whilst awaiting for the maintenance team. Instructions were also unclear, which led to us not realising that there is a facility card to pool and gym nearby. Given that the villa is meant to accomodate a big family, the necessities were lacking as there were limited number of tablewares and the pots were only enough for 1-2 persons. Overall, it could have been a much better experience but the service and facilities are severely lacking.
