Our stay at Hotel Taodomus was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the service was second to none – warm, attentive, and genuinely personal. The reception team made everything easy, helping with tours and airport transfers, and the rooftop staff took incredible care of us each morning at breakfast and again in the evenings over drinks. A special thanks to Manuel and Antonio for their impeccable service and the wonderful conversations about Italian life, and to Laura for making the best omelettes! The breakfast spread was unbelievable, with fresh, delicious options every day. The rooftop terrace was a true highlight – relaxed, peaceful, with stunning views over Taormina. Our room was beautifully serviced each day, the bed was super comfortable, and the luxurious bedding made for a perfect night’s sleep. The location is ideal, right in the heart of Taormina, yet still a peaceful retreat. We couldn’t have asked for more – a perfect blend of comfort, service, and atmosphere. We’ll be back!

A good quality small hotel on the very busy Corso Umberto but very quiet inside. Very well designed rooms No 7 is on the small side but has a great terrace with beautiful views and is light and bright. It was a delight to be greeted every morning by Antonio & Nadine on the top terrace with a wonderful view of the sea and Mount Etna for a fabulous display of homemade breakfast treats and sweets and in the evening Manuela has a fine selections of cocktails.

This beautiful hotel is located in the heart of Taormina. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We only stayed one night and wish that we could have extended our trip. The breakfast on the rooftop was a standout! Highly recommended.

It's a beautiful place in the heart of the city. Just front off hotel is main street of the town, were you can find a lot of cozy restaurants and shops, museums. My favorite hour it was around 6.30-7 am when town quiet and you can walk around and enjoy every corner of town. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I must say a big thank you to the chef Mr.Raciti who treated us to an excellent breakfast every morning and made it food with love for everyone.

This small boutique hotel gets everything right. Certainly our room, one of nine, nestled over four floors in a building in the heart of Taormina’s historic centre was modern, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff without exception were friendly and helpful; the hotel’s location on the pedestrianised focal point of the town, but near to taxi access was ideal and the roof-top terrace was comfortable with great sea and Etna views. The star performer though, was the breakfast - vegetarian - though so excellently varied in variety and tastes that I barely noticed. This is not a ‘grande dame’ establishment, but if you want a friendly comfortable bolt hole with a great meal to set you up for the day, this is the place.

Would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Taormina. Lovely welcoming staff and instructions for drivers and parking and pre visit help was very useful. The hotel is just at the start of the Main Street but very quiet once in. The rooms are beautiful and although on the smaller side the design works very well and we were able to store large bags away without issue. We had top room with view out to the water which was lovely to wake up to and end the day. The bar on the very top level is also fantastic and is where have breakfast. Very modern and staff friendly and helpful for the whole stay.

This was a fantastic find. Near the start of Taormina pedestrian area so you can find your room and then start the adventure. The streets are busy but the noise does not come in the room. The room was a very good size with a perfect en-suite. The building is old but inside is clean and new and solid in construction. There is a small lift from the 1st floor to the roof terrace. The terrace is perfect for breakfast (included) or for a drink at the bar. Their drinks master is knowledgeable and all in all this was the very best stay I have had anywhere globally for some time. A dream. ( English is spoken).

My husband and I spent three nights at Hotel Taodomus in Taormina while we were exploring southern Sicily. Its location is perfect: just inside Porta Catania at the southern end of Taormina’s main (pedestrianised) street Corso Umberto i - so quiet but just metres away from taxis, buses etc The hotel is a beautifully renovated old building, ultra modern with a lift to a wonderful roof terrace and breakfast room with fine views over Taormina, the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna. Our room was spacious and very comfortable to live in. Breakfasts were fantastic. I had the finest omelette I have ever had in my life there: potato, fennel and courgette flower omelette with fresh ricotta. In the evenings cocktails are served on the roof terrace. They were so good and the evening views so lovely we went up there every night before we went out for dinner. All of the staff were amazing, very professional, attentive and charming and the hotel reception provided a really excellent concierge service personally tailored to our tastes and needs. They advised on itineraries, booked our restaurant choices and arranged our taxis etc All in all a wonderful place to stay…………
