An average large older hotel, but the rooms are still priced high. As usual Trip.com showed a price when first viewed, then with the now normalized lefty globalist fraud of constantly changing price for fixed product/service, like airline tickets, the app updated to a higher price. Nothing new with decades of Linnaeus' greediest bringing ever worsening greed, unaffordability, quality, value, to everything under guises of "luxury" with no actual benefit/improvement. Many fundamental amenities of a western world $100usd+ price are not provided, such as There are no sidewalks to/from the hotel so watch out walking in the street. There's no cover from rain/sun at the entry. It's also ~15 min walk from the MRT west to this hotel if you don't taxi. Nearby convenience are severely lacking, and you must travel further for better options. Lobby was pretty crowded, but check in was quick. The room was dated interior, wood/browns, carpet, but clean and large over 500ft2. No Japanese toilets is a downer, for the (ever increasing despite continuous improvement in efficiency and lowering costs of every sublevel product/service) price, along with the try yoga and turn around push the flush tank button on the toilet. The breakfast/meal is steep over $20usd. Trip.com advertised a pool, the only hotel around the area with one, but upon arrival, the pool was not open despite hot weather. Trip.com also advertised a (additional fee) children's playground, which turned out as "we don't have that". So we got duped on our groups 2 biggest reasons for this hotel. Luckily there is a park across the street with kids playground. The moderate sized night market is less than 10 minutes walk south. Not much else around the area, its just the area with cheaper hotels just south of the bizarre overpriced all-trivial-product-brands-are-now-luxury "outlets" mall, that notably lacks food options, and sun/rain cover. As a note, we asked for an item from the front desk, and they told us to come down and get it lol. However, I must also note, despite the old rotary dial controls, the room aircons were very cold, and clean! But the little refrigerator was hardly cold and not adjustable. Also power outlets in the room were very limited and you have to unplug some items to plug your devices. The 2 TVs in the room were "smart" and had apps like youtube in them, that's nice. And they gave 4 water bottle in the room for 1 night. No disposables like toothbrushes/paste though. There were big windows in the room. Lots of room space, but Small couch wont fit 3 people. Nice big bathtub and separate shower. Bed and pillows were soft enough for sleep without issue, but not the Best. They are not greedy and allow the normal 11am checkout. Didn't use the wifi so its unknown. So pro's and cons for this place.
