Amazing experience from the moment we pulled into the property! Nature greeted us and showed us to our treehouse. It was so beautiful, spacious and most of all relaxing. We were immediately greeted on our deck by a possum with her baby on her back. So cute. In the morning we looked for the platypus and finally saw one the last morning. The king parrots, cat bird and cassowary all came by our treehouse. A highlight was the night walk we took with Nature to see all the creatures that come out at night. Hope to get back there in the future and stay longer!

Had the most amazing few nights at The Canopy Rainforest Treehouses and Wildlife Sanctuary. A once in a lifetime stay, totally immersed in nature on the most beautiful site! The treehouses are lovely and very well equipped with all you could need for a comfortable visit. My favourite memory was having a cup of tea on the balcony in the morning and watching the wildlife below :) Very lucky to see the Cassowary family multiple times during our stay :) So glad to have had this experience of the beautiful Queensland rainforest.

We had a very enjoyable few days and 2 nights at canopy treehouse. We cooked our bbq both nights, had a fire one night! Spent a day at Herberton . We were visited by a few paedemelon , cassowaries, possums, cat bird, rifle birds and green pidgeons. Also bush turkey bush and hens! Lovely and quiet! Beautiful to be amongst the rainforest yet so close to nearby attractions!! Waterfalls, craters , Malanda and Herberton!

We stayed at The Bower House for 3 nights, a perfect retreat. The house was spotless, had everything we needed and more. I am terrified of insects but I assume that the rooms are sprayed because it was not an issue It rained for most of the time (to be expected in a rainforest) but did not spoil the enjoyment. The screen on the windows allowed us to leave the windows open at night, falling asleep to the sounds of the rainforest in very comfortable beds Bird seed at the house tempted an abundance of tropical birds onto the balcony , a pandemelon and brush turkeys were regular visitors and we were delighted to be visited by a cassowary on our last day. So relaxing to lie in the spa bath with views of the forest. We had bought coal and firelighters for the bbq but they were not needed as the bbq is gas. Loved every moment of our stay and would recommend 100%

Perfect place to stay in the rainforest. We planned to make excursions in the area to seek birds and wildlife. They all came to us. Cassowaries and delicate little pademelons under our veranda. Green-winged pigeons, whip birds, catbirds, rifle-birds visiting. Missed one photo of rifle-bird because it was perched on camera. Scrub turkeys everywhere. Possums. Stream just below with turtles and platypuses. Complementary tour with resident nature expert, who pointed out tree kangaroo and fluorescent lichen. Cabins are charming, tucked into forest so you're unaware of neighbours and feel very private. Fire on cold evenings, well equipped kitchen, to cook at home, since it seemed foolish to be elsewhere. Highly recommended.

Opening the front door to the beautiful wooden rooms in the rainforest was just breathtaking. Loved the breakfast basket & provisions. Bread freshly made was excellent. The deck overlooking the Tableland mountains was the most peaceful spot for a quiet morning coffee and a relaxing sundowner drink. Very hard to leave the fireside to see the sights in the surrounding areas. Very special stay.

Just an incredible place in the rainforest. Treehouses had everything required for a special stay. Most comfortable beds of the entire trip. I would highly recommend this place. The host was great, giving so much information and supplies of boots and animal feed. Saw all the normal animals here highlights being the 2 cassowaries and a small look at a platypus. Would love to return. Don’t hesitate to book it’s amazing

Friendly Cassowaries here in the rainforest. We had 4 fabulous days here recently. The rainforest is so thick and beautiful and so full of life. We saw cassowaries, brush turkeys, platypus, turtles, pademelons and so many birds. Dan is a wonderful host and provides turtle and bird food to each cabin. He is a wealth of knowledge, as is Greg (Nature). We did an evening forest walk with him and learned so much. The accommodation is lovely and everything you will need is right there. We will return to this little piece of paradise again I am sure.

Amazing and wonderful place. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. We stayed for three nights and loved it, the tree house had a great balcony, open plan kitchen and living room, big spa bathroom, lovely bed and lots of big windows to view the rainforest. We had a Cassowary wander through and lots and lots of visits from parrots, possums, potoroo's, many different rainforest birds, all in all have to recommend as a wonderful relaxing(no phone coverage, which adds to the peacefulness)getaway. Would definitely recommend.
