Western Suites Hotel

It's hard to describe the staying experience. In a city like Tashkent where the consumption is relatively low, 500 yuan a night is not cheap. In all aspects, it is not cost-effective at all! The hotel information shows that it opened in 2022, but the room looks like it was built in 2002, very recently. The decoration is very dark and shabby, the curtains do not block out the light, and the worst thing is the bedding and toiletries, they look like they have not been washed, and I don't want to sleep on them at all. Honestly, this is the first time I write a review on Ctrip Business Travel because the experience is so bad!

The hotel is new, very clean and bright. It is located 20 minutes by taxi from the airport, public transport stops are nearby, but it is no more than 40 minutes on foot to the center. We stayed in a standard room - not very large, but there is enough space. The bed is comfortable, and the bed linen smells incredibly delicious. The room has disposable slippers, dental kits, shampoo and shower gel. Water is provided free of charge. Unfortunately, there is no kettle, which, in my opinion, is not very convenient. I would also like to note the problem with the water pressure in the shower. Sometimes it is strong, and sometimes the water barely flows for unknown reasons. And I give a big minus to the breakfasts: they clearly did not succeed. I even had to complain to the administrator about the constantly empty plates on the buffet, cold scrambled eggs and lack of teaspoons. The girls-waiters just sit or sleep on the sofas in the corner of the dining room while you try to get yourself some leftovers. After the complaint, however, the situation improved and there was more food, which probably means that they were just "holding back" on the guests. As for the quality of the food itself, it's not great. Unpalatable tea in bags, terrible instant coffee, over-fried eggs, tasteless porridge, "rubber pancakes" and soy sausages. Perhaps the only tasty ones were the muffins. And most importantly, they serve absolutely the same thing day after day. So if you are a connoisseur of delicious hotel breakfasts, this is not the place for you ;) Otherwise, I really liked the hotel. They just need to work on the service a little bit and everything will be great.
